He's been wanting to leave for 2 years. Don't know why he doesn't just get on with it. Then again I'm not in his situation and I'm not in a place where I hate where I'm living. If I were the Chelsea board, Id only sell him to the highest bidder. But Roman has a habit of doing 'favours' to players who want to leave and granting their wishes.

Sell him to China and make him move there

Charles Nsommnia was that deliberate or auto correct

Deliberate. Forget the manager who accidentally said it at the time, but N'Zogbia used it as an excuse to leave Newcastle.

Costa is a W@?ker thou a player you like only if he plays for you bit like our Dele but worse

Barely anyone blames Conte tbh and I think he's gotten off easy for doing something ridiculously stupid. Costa has acted badly but doesn't change that conte mde things worse.

Couldn't agree more, he has been creating a drama from a situation which was in fact very clear.

He wanted to leave, he expressed this over a couple of seasons, in his last ( jan ) he was told ok, no problem you can go.

I think the issue has been Atletico and there transfer ban.

They want him but will not take responsibility for him, next his actions are devaluing him.

Which perfectly suits Atletico

Personally id sue him for breach of contract.

Irrespective of any text.

Got no problem with Dele Ali myself, haven't come across any fan who doesn't actually.

Love his chant too. So catchy

I'd miss Costa, bar when you're playing him he's great entertainment.

Costa will be a loser in all of this,Atleti have a few good players coming through and aren't really bothered about Costa too much, except if they can get him at a giveaway. Also he will most propably forfeit his Spanish team position, if he does not very soon, get into regular starting for whatever team.
So, Costa will end up losing all round ,what a diick, serves him right .

I get that completely, but Costa's the bigger offender here & Conte's taking the hits for it. Considering how much the player's wanted out for so long, you could argue Conte thought he was being gracious by plainly giving him what he wants.

Chelsea should be taking legal action at this point, while there is player power in football over contracts and signings , you still have to play the game , you can't just refuse to show up to work.

no one forced him to come here

I used to love Costa getting into fights with people and people fouling him, players like him and Suarez are missed

I've noticed the widespread opinion on this one largely veering towards blaming Conte

who? other than I think that D.ckhead Wahl.

Most chelsea fans I know just think costa is a mug

Fair assessment of Costa's situation. Until last season Costa was the villian and all of the sudden he is the victim. It made me laugh Daily Mail travelled 20,000 miles to his house for an exclussive interview.

also love how they wind people up so much with their behaviour, the moral stance taken is hilarious.

Would be hilarious to see wahls stance if it was mourinho.

Mourinho who alienated so many of madrids players and chelsea players in his second term.

Oh the pundits? To be honest adbrocat, I don't even think they know the full story. I heard I think Ian wright talking about it the other day and he literally didn't know that Costa has been trying to get a move out of Chelsea for ages and has stated even before the incident with Conte that he wants to leave. I wouldn't take their opinions seriously and I hope conte wouldn't either.

Player power at its most ugliest. Fack him. Only glory hunters and apologists with no identity with our club would want him to stay. And fack them too.

What are you talking about? I'm not proud of what conte did and think it was a mistake, but I mean it's not a huge deal. It's happened, and I can move on from it.
