Yeah that's the play-off final, the main prize really. A lot of controversy regarding the league title being devalued because of it.
Regardless of what you think of the sport though, for a town like Castleford to achieve the league title is amazing.

about "1970" I think, v Wigan in the challenge Cup final, What a great day out that was. Sports teacher at school took those of us interested,
Halifax RLFC was my team & that sensational side put together in the mid 80's by Chris Anderson.
Alas, being in Western Oz I've lost connection to the sport over the years, Although go 'mental-Lion- patriotic' when we play the Aussies in tests..

I feel 'league' lost it's way with that stupid 'super league' tag & direction a couple or three decades ago.
it's never been the sae since.
Even in 'OZ', the game isn't the draw card it used to be nationally. Only my opinion, But Aussie rules, Football <- the surprise packeage due to Hyundai sponsorship, & Rugby Union have edged 'league' to 4th spot in the football codes after probably being joint top with Aussie rules in the late 80's !
