West Bore?
That's mean. You're not still bitter we cost you the league 2 years ago, are you?
You didn't cost us the league, it wasn't in our hands at that point and hadn't been for several weeks. West Bore is accurate, Hughes said you don't bother to cut or water the pitch and you barely play any football as you'd rather park the bus and focus on set pieces
I'd happily take Sanches on loan!

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Taking him on loan would mean either someone like Winks gets less game time or Sanches doesn't himself.
No point in Sanches coming and not getting minutes and there's also no point in not developing our players for a player that leaves in 12 months.
Which means a permanent deal is best deal possible but Bayern would probably want £40m so loan to Swansea with plenty of games makes sense.
Sanches deal is good for both teams, if it goes to plan and he has a great season.
Bayern know he won't want to stay different if he had a great season for spurs.
Also its clearly a deal for a mate by ancellotti wasn't he his no.2 at Chelsea.
Yep I forgot about the Ancelotti-Clement links. They were also together at PSG, Real Madrid and Bayern.
Sensible loan deals for both clubs. Also as you say Clement and Ancellotti have a close working relationship.
Ye I knew he carried on with him but didn't know when he stopped.
I don't think cm is a place you need to strengthen anyway.
Aurier is a top class player he is looked down on because of his off field antics. Wouldnt bother me great signing for that price in this market.
I do think spurs need to get another quality attacker, someone like draxler.
Draxler would be quality, also a lot of talk that we've been offered Lucas Moura and Di Maria but Poch deemed that Lucas Moura isn't good enough... yet Sissoko and N'Koudou are?
Weird article. Neither Sanches or the polish fella are good enough for us

Maybe not the right attitude? I said draxler cos he likes footy... Moura and di maria are money boys.. They be happy to stay on the paris wine tasting course
Anyway i like spurs, I think you should spend the big money on a world class player next to Erikson and kane

it has been our usual poor start, as yet again we have entered a season unprepared. same as usual
Then you have the temerity to point out that 'the window hasn't closed yet', well which one is it exactly? You're not happy we're unprepared yet you then jump on people who moan that we've not conducted the bulk of our business earlier. Are you bipolar? Mood swings? Hormones?
Loan signings show more ambition than signing a CB for up to £42m?
Can you at least wait until the end of the window before you do all this, and I might join you. But for somebody who has advocated for early transfers to suddenly use loan signings one day before the window shuts are signs of other clubs showing ambition that should embarrass us is a bit daft
We've shown little ambition. As do some of our fans when they state they want the likes of Gray to join us
I don't want us signing Gray. I'll wait and see what happens tomorrow before I kick off. But your point about these loan signings is weird

what are you talking about?
read back this article. its a joke mate, and you have embarrassed yourself by writing it.
just because I said we have as usual been unprepared for the season, doesn't mean that it isn't an awful article. I would have liked to do more business, but I am sure we will do some today, but my main issue, as it has been in the last 3 or 4 years, is our inadequate (in my opinion) pre season schedule, which always sees us fall short in the opening month of the season
You've been embarrassing yourself all summer with your contradicting posts left right and centre Chronic. You moan that we're unprepared for the season yet then whinge when people suggest we get new players prepared for the season by signing them earlier with your 'the window isn't closed yet' retort. How can they prepare for us if they're not with us? Call up the club and ask them to organise training as we'd like it for said player so he can already get the gist of it?
You're so hell-bent on backing whatever levy says or does that you can't bear to admit when he does something wrong, and it's pretty obvious that delaying moving in the market isn't ideal preparation for new players to get used to things. If you want to keep burying your head in the sand that "its cheaper" to buy late or whatever excuse you've got up your sleeve then go ahead.

once again this is a lazy / misguided response. something I would expect from don. I had you down as a far better poster than that.
to clarify, Levy has frustrated me this window and previous windows by leaving signings so late, BUT I understand why we do it (financially makes deals more viable).
regarding the transfer window not closing I just get a bit fed up of people announcing that this is an awful window when actually the window is still open so they have no idea how it will turn out. nothing wrong with that. people far too quick to attack the club.
not burying head in sand at all..... just understand (even if don't fully agree with) the business model, and back the club and levy to get it right, as we have no grounds to doubt him, based on the immense progress we have made under his stewardship, on and off the pitch.
none of the above is debateable.
