Just going through a few old threads on this board before Poch was appointed manager (yes, I'm that sad). Some of the comments are quite funny:

Scribe is back - "Potch could get the best out of Lamela maybe but other than that I don't see what he brings to the table."

Chicken - "Although i dont think the board know who, or what type of manager, they want, i.e. foreign with a good record (like De boer) or Premiership proven (like Pochettino), although what they think Pochettino has over Tim in this league, i'm not sure."

loavirgo - "I say this through gritted teeth but Pochettino won't be better for our team than Sherwood."

Billy the Yidd - "I find all these rumours about Pochettino rather disturbing, one can only assume Levy is trying to copy Liverpool`s approach by appointing a PL manager that has taken a small club into the top half of the table.

A risky strategy that would prove once and forever that Levy is clueless when it comes to picking managers.

If Levy appoints Pochettino, I will give up."

My Eagle mate, a lifelong STH says the blame isn't FDB's but Parrish and his Muppets. He had 4 games to turn a Pardew / Allardyce team into his own. Not even Poch could have succeeded with that brief.

For Chelsea I'd say Koeman. He was strongly linked with us for a while before we ended up getting Conte.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

That's harsh on Koeman. He's done a marvelous job with Everton, turning around the circus which Martinez left him with and turning round their defence. Was probably 4th or 5th in Barcelona's choices of potential managers last season.

Of course Conte is a better manager but I am talking about managers who would have totally messed up your team not managers who were slightly lesser to your clubs final choice.

Koeman may not have won the league last season (although he could have done) but with the players and resources you have he would have certainly finished top 3. Think you are being incredibly harsh on Koeman.

Think this is harsh on FDB to be honest. Given 4 games to turn a dull, cautious, unattractive team into a football one but because it didn't bear fruits instantly he was sacked? Says a lot about the players there if they're supposed premier league standard and they struggle with basic concepts such as passing the ball short and bringing the ball out of defence. This is 2017 not 1991. If they're not capable of such tasks then they shouldn't be playing in the league! Shameful by the board as well.

As for the actual topic:

Player - Chamakh. No explanation required surely?

Manager - O'Neill. Dreadful hoofball tactics from the dark ages which he's used from the late 90's to current day. What a

Frank De Boer will go down as one of the worst appointments in the history of the English league.

"Scott Dan pushed up forward."
WTF pretty sure Scott Dan was a defender for us (Birmingham City) in the Premier League? No wonder they can't score if he's playing at number 9 or 10 now!
