I can’t explain why people would think Mbappe is better as I’ve seen both and don’t see what qualities Mbappe has that are better. I put the question out there for other people who have seen the two to see if there are any mysterious reasons as to why some would rate the Frenchman more than Marcus
I don't think anyone has seen more than 10 games of Mbappe at club level, I certainly haven't so I can't really comment. What I will say though is there is no way I would swap him for Dembele.
I've seen about 1% as much of Mbappe compared with Rashford so fair comparison but the Frenchman looks a greater talent to me. Having said that, I get the feeling that Rashford's greatest attribute is his mentality. If Mbappe's isn't quite as strong, Rashford could end up having a better career - cf. Rooney vs Ronaldo, where at 18 Wayne looked the better player.
Either way, I wouldn't swap him. You don't wish away your best young player in years for a bit of an upgrade.

I’ve seen plenty of Monaco games and all of PSGs games where Mbappe has played.
Good young player but nothing exceptional that blows Rashford out of the water
Mbappe seems to share skillsets of both Martial and Rashford. Seems to have a great footballing brain and the skills to match.
Hard to say who will have the better career, but Mbappe seems to have that mindset that he is destined to be at the top.
