😂😂😂😂

You don’t have an argument that relates to the debate.

Nothing you are saying relates to it being less or more man made Mamba. You’re still just sticking to the provable / fantastical element.

In order to be less man made - it has to less made by man. The racism example you keep regurgitating still starts with the socially constructed racism in the person’s head, just as much as religion.

You are funny, albeit painful.

who says gravity really exists?

we have been told it does, but that is not proof f its existence.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes there is.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's just a side effect of the world sucking.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

"The “proof” of gravity is the demonstration that the phenomenon happens. A casual demonstration would be to hold an ordinary object out in the air at arms length and let go"

Obviously there is a force that makes the object fall down.

The proof of racism is also a demonstration that the phenomenon happens. You can deduce the existence of racism by similar investigation.

You can't do the same with religion. Racism can be tested and observed, unlike religion. Just because people cab be racist and people can be religious doesn't mean they are similar man made constructs.

Gravity is not as much a man made construct as religion, and neither is racism.

-----
I started the debate and I know what I was debating. From your first involvement I told you point blank that you were on a completely different planet. You had to rewrite my argument to proceed, without which you couldn't participate because my debate isn't really what you're debating. You're debating your own sheet.

You explicitly purported to debate about both being man made constructs when the debate is closer to whether racism is as much a man made construct as religion. These two are not the same debate as you will have reckoned by now.

I reckoned that ages ago and have since focused on your unsubstantiated claim that one is less than the other and it doesn’t really change anything you have said.

Demonstrating that the man made construct in someone’s head (racism) manifests physically doesn’t go anywhere near to justifying the position that it is less man made than religion (which also manifests physically).

No-one here agrees with you at all, nobody. You’re completely alone with this supposition. You said an off the cuff remark and are now (as usual) just digging your heels in, repeating the same irrelevant point over and over again.

You need to focus on the origin of the construct and argue whether it was entirely man made or not. That’s where you’re going to have any success in arguing that racism is less man made than religion.

racial superiority is a fantasy? is it really

in terms of sprinting for example, one could easily make the argument that people of west african descent have a genetic predisposition to be better sprinter than any other group of people

that could be considered a form of racial superiority
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I would muse that's closer to adaptability than racial superiority.

You notice how you had to isolate west Africa where the race is black but there's a lot more black race in the world.

In east Africa for example, they are also the black race and they can't really sprint. They are more famous for durability or endurance like marathons, long races and steeplechase long races.

Therefore, you can argue people from the black race are more adapted to short bursts like sprinting in some places and more adapted to endurance in other places. Yet they are the same race.

Black football players mostly from Africa are seen to be powerful and fast whereas players from South America, who come in all shades and colours are more famous for their close control of the ball and mercurial skill, nutmegs and shimmies etc.

Notice that this applies to nearly all south american players, some of whom appear white like Messi and Suarez, others black like 'Dinho, and every other colour in between.

If it was down to race then a black player should be powerful regardless of any other facts, no?

Good to see the pro Israel demonstration was with well behaved people. Some pro Palestinian protestors turned up but were swiftly moved on by the police.

No incidents, no arrests. Good protest.

Racism exist in peoples minds, so does religious belief. People act on their racist beliefs, people act on their religious beliefs.
-----
This is where it becomes clear the error of your ways. I believe your definition of racism is limited, which has led to a lot of confusion and waffling on your part.

A simple Google search gives two definitions

prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism by an individual, community, or institution against a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular racial or ethnic group, typically one that is a minority or marginalized.
"a programme to combat racism"
Similar:
racial discrimination
racialism
racial prejudice/bigotry
xenophobia
chauvinism
bigotry
bias
intolerance
anti-Semitism
apartheid

And

the belief that different races possess distinct characteristics, abilities, or qualities, especially so as to distinguish them as inferior or superior to one another.

First of all, when you read these definitions, do you really think that racism is as much a made construct as religion? That's nuts.

Secondly, your whole point has been based on that both religion and racism begin with some fantasy, whix is then acted upon. The existence of the supernatural in religion and the belief in racial superiority in racism.

However, only in the second definition is racism based on a belief. You don't have to believe in some racial superiority fantasy in order for you to be racist and that's a major difference between racism and religion, so much so that racism isn't as much a man made construct as religion.

Racism doesn't always start with a myth so you need to put all foregoing waffle back in your pocket and try and repackage it in line with the actual debate and then try to present it again after expanding your knowledge on the matter at hand.

Was my first thought tbh. She’s a shouty, nasty piece of work but very few people deserve to be shot and from what I know of her, she isn’t one.

Howareya?

Apart from Jo Cox it is rare for a murder or attempted murder now in UK politics.

We used to have it here from both sides and it makes people very bitter and entrenched.

Guys I was in meetings with would just not be there at the next one, or folk got into loyalist politics after a dad or brother was murdered, and these people were often most hard Line of all...

We on the nationalist republican side after people were murdered too and it just creates fear and hate.

Hopefully, people take a step back and do not start attacking political figures.
