I agree on the poor imaging point but that doesn’t mean that there is global conspiracy or somehow localised to the US (why aliens would focus on that area I’m not sure).
The release of only poor images indicates that there is something go on being hidden but on maths alone, I think it’s too unlikely to be extraterrestrial in nature.

Is it a technological error with military radar and craft?
Only if we dismiss eye witness testimonies from military personnel.
Is it secret space tech made by the government? With no propulsion, that mitigates gravitational effects and avoids radar - I doubt we have the capabilitues.
Is it Russian or Chinese? Same issue.
So, extra terrestrial is the last answer available to us. Now there are the issues you speak of there. So, I guess I am making a faith claim in some ways.

Plus you have the (very easy) identification of EM radiation across the spectrum arriving at Earth or leaving Earth with sufficient energy to enable interstellar communication. Again, amateur radio enthusiasts and scientists would be picking this kind of stuff up, never mind academia and the private sector.
So if there’s anything ‘alien’ here, it arrived probably at least 50 years ago, and it isn’t communicating with or receiving communications from aliens elsewhere.
