My sister and mum tested covid positive today as well, my dad has leukemia, diabetes and an anuerysm.

So this should be a fun couple of weeks, especially as I'm currently living back with mum and dad 🙄

Was there today. She thinks she's going back to live alone.
Not happening. I just agree with anything she says. Was her B/day last Sunday. 89 She didn't even know until I got there. Sad as fek to see her so feeble and losing her mind. Worse for me than her at times. The joy of the bewildered I think it's called.

The missus’ cousin’s kid is now out of hospital and back home with the family. Her brother (seven I think) hasn’t been ill but asked his parents if he “will have to go into hospital too.”

Kids shouldn’t have to deal with this shiiiiit.

Luckily he never caught it from his brother, my sister was actually sensible for once and confined her 17 year old to his room/outside for the duration of his isolation period. I sent him my collection of PS4 games and he was happy enough

Now my other sister has got it, presumably from one of her 3 primary school aged kids, it's rife at their school!

It's been a stressful few months

About 2 months ago my 13 year relationship broke down, and I had to move out to my parents,

Then 4 weeks ago my eldest sister's husband of 14 years, father to 4 of her 5 kids left her (appears to be having a mental health breakdown). So myself and my parents have been looking after her kids a lot to try and help her sort out her ensuing depression.

And as a result mums definitely caught covid off them, she has, and now clinically vulnerable dad is at risk (and had started feeling achey yesterday) given he's double jabbed and has had his booster I'm sure he will be fine!

IMO this is the wrong way round and I'm surprised that politicians aren't more vociferous on this issue.

If a mp dies of cancer surely other parties should stand aside on compassionate grounds as they would in the case of murder.

I don't know who decides these things but it needs looking at.

My own MP was a candidate of one party at the election they were elected in, and now sit in HoC as a member of another party. I think if an MP changed party (or is kicked out of their party) then a by-election should be triggered. I do think there are more fundamental failings with the use of FPTP in elections and the way the HoL is operated and added-to though which do impact a larger number of voters on a more regular basis.

I just don’t get wtf he was thinking calling a man who anally raped five 9-11 year old boys, ‘JoJo’.


Mind you, it’s not hard to predict when a Presidential Candidate is labelling him a white supremacist and now current President “angry and concerned” with the resulting verdict.

He crossed state lines! He lives 25 mins away and the weapon didn’t cross state line

He was an active shooter! He only shot when attacked


He was there to murder protestors! He was there cleaning graffiti, extinguishing fires and offering medical aid


The incident had images from various angles and people still don’t accept the verdict.
