A building is however worth a person’s livelihood.
There’s a video currently on Reddit, from 1992. The LA riots. A black man who has had his shop destroyed, by other black people. The video focuses on his reaction, his outrage, his frustration, at the looting and destruction of what he owns, has built up from nothing, at the hands of people who are angry at the very same thing he is angry at. It was (is) so upsetting to see. In order to make a point, the victims remain the same.

Good for mind and body.Epsom salts and a rubber ducky in a hot bath. Draws out all the muscle and joint pain. Its what us oldunits do.Buy a snow shovel. You might get some work over the winter. You still off the bevvy?(mostly?)

Epsom salts lol....smell like a granda, but hot baths worked wonders.I carried flagstones by hand first day as had no wheel barrow until second day, and nearly broke masel....headbanger.
We do not get regular or much snow here now, but gardens were growing until last week before Storm Arwen, and can work indoors painting more now, so all good.Love working outdoors, 3 layers on painting a huge fence or clearing a garden up, ratjer tjan tapping a computer 6 days in a row.
Only boozing when meeting mates once a month, or next two weekends for Christmas meets, lol....bit of a change from 2-3 times a week in lockdown ffs, but 9 years off it gives me will power.
I love the craic and music while drinking and do not get jangovers, but cannae get a decent sleep, so tjat puts me off it now, as grafting while knackered is daft at my age.

A building is however worth a person’s livelihood.
There’s a video currently on Reddit, from 1992. The LA riots. A black man who has had his shop destroyed, by other black people. The video focuses on his reaction, his outrage, his frustration, at the looting and destruction of what he owns, has built up from nothing, at the hands of people who are angry at the very same thing he is angry at. Epsom salts lol....smell like a granda, but hot baths worked wonders.I carried flagstones by hand first day as had no wheel barrow until second day, and nearly broke masel....headbanger.
We do not get regular or much snow here now, but gardens were growing until last week before Storm Arwen, and can work indoors painting more now, so all good.Love working outdoors, 3 layers on painting a huge fence or clearing a garden up, ratjer tjan tapping a computer 6 days in a row.
Only boozing when meeting mates once a month, or next two weekends for Christmas meets, lol....bit of a change from 2-3 times a week in lockdown ffs, but 9 years off it gives me will power.
I love the craic and music while drinking and do not get jangovers, but cannae get a decent sleep, so tjat puts me off it now, as grafting while knackered is daft at my age.

Was working 7 day weeks there, putting down flagstones, painting fences, gates, windows, cutting grass up to last week and hedges, but nowt much on now, so glad I have cosy WFH civil servics gig 3 days a week....long high hedges and flagstones sure fixed my 57 yr old wagon, pal lol.

Epsom salts lol....smell like a granda, but hot baths worked wonders.I carried flagstones by hand first day as had no wheel barrow until second day, and nearly broke masel....headbanger.
We do not get regular or much snow here now, but gardens were growing until last week before Storm Arwen, and can work indoors painting more now, so all good.Love working outdoors, 3 layers on painting a huge fence or clearing a garden up, ratjer tjan tapping a computer 6 days in a row.
Only boozing when meeting mates once a month, or next two weekends for Christmas meets, lol....bit of a change from 2-3 times a week in lockdown ffs, but 9 years off it gives me will power.
I love the craic and music while drinking and do not get jangovers, but cannae get a decent sleep, so tjat puts me off it now, as grafting while knackered is daft at my age.

There’s a video currently on Reddit, from 1992. The LA riots. A black man who has had his shop destroyed, by other black people. The video focuses on his reaction, his outrage, his frustration, at the looting and destruction of what he owns, has built up from nothing, at the hands of people who are angry at the very same thing he is angry at. It was (is) so upsetting to see. In order to make a point, the victims remain the same.
The actual target of such actions? Nothing happened to them. People protesting just turned on themselves. Attacked themselves. Ruined themselves.
