Trump knew he tested positive for #COVID19 3 days before his first debate against Biden, says Former Chief of Staff Mark Meadows— he tested positive on Sept 26th. Here he is mocking Biden for mask wearing, while deliberately trying to infect/kill him.

🚨🚨🚨 | BREAKING: The Omicron variant appears to be a ‘super mild‘ mutation with Covid death rate in South Africa not jumping.

There have been no reports of hospitalisations or deaths as a result of anyone being diagnosed with Omicron.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I wouldn't believe that for a second. The number of hospitalisations in the area the new variant first hit in SA have gone up 500% in the last fortnight. The sequencing may not (yet) have shown that it was caused by Omicron but you can be pretty sure it is. SA are applying a strategy of damage limitation at the moment to limit harm to the economy but even a cursory look at the figures tells a worrying story.

Yeah. 1 you don’t go to hospitals for mild infections, and 2 South African government hospitals are not very good, youd try and stay out of them if possible.

He's doing great work getting people even more angry

Everytime some posh twit or Tory apologist says "noone cares" or "everyone was at it" to the media; the responses are all furious

"Got this message from a care home worker expressing ‘utter disgust’ & ‘supreme anger’ about the Xmas do in No 10 during lockdown last December.

‘Wives lost their husbands in our home during Christmas 2020 & I have to live with the fact that I had to be gatekeeper’ "

This is the same man who said this, following the budget, on helping the poor;

“Hold on, you say help?!" Quentin quipped. "This is our money that the politicians are giving away and the idea that you can just help people without any cost to other people is quite wrong."

Weird how money given away to mates and associates for PPE contracts isn’t viewed in the same way.

You may recall back in Feb 2021 NI port authority and council staff were asked to stay at home as a result of a security threat. Staff were also stood down in the Dept of Agriculture amid concerns for staff safety.

"On the basis of information received today and, pending further discussions with the PSNI, Daera has decided in the interests of the wellbeing of staff to temporarily suspend physical inspections of products of animal origin at Larne and Belfast."

https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-northern-ireland-55895276

The PSNI in turn confirmed they were not aware of any security threats to port staff.

"The PSNI has no evidence of "credible threats" against port workers in Larne and Belfast, PSNI Chief Constable Simon Byrne has said."

https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-northern-ireland-55983873

BBC Spotlight has since found (was broadcast the other night here) the Mid and East Antrim Borough Council chief executive received an email from the DUP (following discussions) advising the department to withdraw staff from ports.

The the Department of Agriculture, (under DUP Minister Edwin Poots) subsequently withdrew health (SPS) inspectors. No other local parties were consulted/involved in this process aside from the DUP.

https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-northern-ireland-59480141

The PSNI are currently investigating and on the face of it, it looks like the DUP manufactured the security threat in an attempt to destabilise the NIP, and whip up further tensions amongst the community.

It feels genuinely weird sitting behind the wheel of a nice car. I don’t know if it is the remanents of the catholic guilt even though I’m pottering around using the electric functionality full time being good to the environment, just feels like I shouldn’t be in a decent car.

The first time I jumped in my first BMW (years ago) I had exactly that feeling, so much so, I felt it was inevitable it wouldn't last.

...I trashed it outside Warrington 10 months later!

I've had my BMW for just over a year now and the first I got it, it felt absolutely amazing to drive compared to the Fiat Punto I owned previously.

I feel important driving a nice car.

Speaking to Sky's Kay Burley, Dr David Nabarro said wealthy nations "need to do much more" because "people in poor nations are suffering".
"If you get COVID and you're old in a country where vaccines are not readily available, you are likely to become seriously ill or die," he said, comparing this with richer countries like the UK where this is "much, much less likely".
He suggested that developed countries should delay their booster rollouts for a month and a half so that struggling nations can receive more vaccine doses.

The EU has fined banks, including Barclays, NatWest and HSBC, a total of €344m (£293m) for roles in a foreign exchange spot trading cartel via a chatroom named "Sterling Lads".

The European Commission said the UK-based banks agreed to settle the case, alongside UBS which avoided a penalty because it had blown the whistle on the activity.

Its difficult, I don't disagree with it, but I'm also selfishly happy that my clinically vulnerable dad has had his booster.. as well as my clinically vulnerable grandparents, one of whom tested positive yesterday
