If Margaret thatcher can be blamed for the 2008 crash for deregulating 25 years prior then I think Blair can still be blamed for tripling the net migration in the country in one year.

I heard that argument made here (ie blaming Thatcher for 2008) I couldn’t agree more it’s a massive reach.

I’m sure the numbers will come back down but it would help if people didn’t label it as racist or xenophobic. It will take quite a while for the numbers to reduce.
