Boris Johnson's spokesman says the Prime Minister will transform the NHS into "a blockbuster health care system in the age of Netflix."
Asked repeatedly to explain what this means, Johnson's spokesman is unable to say which features of Netflix he believes the NHS should imitate.

Sajid Javid told Cabinet he wants to modernise the NHS - “it's a Blockbuster system in the age of Netflix”, No10 says
Basically they are going to invest in a load of original treatments and build up loads of debt. Then when they are unable to service that debt, increase national insurance contributions and limit the number of dependants who can use the NHS services under a person's nation insurance subscription.
Blockbuster was a video rental store, Netflix is a streaming service that made stores like Blockbuster obsolete.
He'd have been better to just say it's outdated, rather than use some stupid analogy that doesn't really work and that half the people don't get.
They've got some nerve to tell us the NHS is outdated as they've engineered to remove money from it for the last decade. Just the next step towards private ownership.

Can't see manufacturers making bespoke chargers for GB (possibly adapters could be used) so may likely be implemented by default in the UK too. Imperial Chargers...

What a completely pointless waste of time
Just what you would expect from the EU though!
Usb-C is so much more efficient and durable than apple lighting and having one universal product is obviously better for everyone

It's the same reason when you buy a fridge freezer it has the same plug as your TV or lamp. Product conformity.
And as noted above Usb-C is far much more energy efficient.
So it's neither a waste of time nor pointless, and something that should have been done years ago.
There has been talk of this for years, especially when there was a host of different phone suppliers all with their own connectors.
