Who do you fear winning the most
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'll happily answer too, my primary answer is all of them are bad.
Tugendhat is the least bad, and I would worry he will see a bounce in their support. For me he is simultaneously the best and worst option, best for the country, worst for labour, because he's the only one you cant attribute Boris failings to in part, he never served him and in fact, it's known he and Boris severely dislike each other, because Tom's criticism of Boris has mirrored the rest of the country with regards to his lies and deceit. He's ex army, had a "real" background rather than being a career politician, and is a europhile.
Rishi would be good in the sense that he too is financially pragmatic, and even if he gets past the Tory membership (which I doubt) I think he will lose votes in certain areas of the UK.
Truss would be worst for the UK, but amazing for labour.
Mordaunt I can't say I have an opinion on either way, on any subject.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think Rishi is an open goal for Starmer having sat next to Boris through all of his misdemeanours and getting a fine.
I'm surprised that so many within the party are supporting him, imo Penny or Tom would be a much better bet.

I keep hearing Labour mp's getting asked which of the Tory leadership candidates they would fear winning the most.
Everytime we get a standard answer something along the lines of "none of them they are all flawed".
Wouldn't it be good if we got an honest answer for example Barry Gardiner "who are you most worried about winning the Tory leadership"? "Oh Penny Mordaunt for sure she would destroy our wooden boss"!
They must all have an opinion and shouldn't be so reluctant to share it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If your main gripe is honest answers to questions, you must find your association with the Tories incredibly problematic.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Who do you fear winning the most Tam?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
All of them. I think they will all do damage to the country.
Rishi is probably the one I fead winning the least, as he seems the least partisan and most sensible.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think Rishi would be a great appointment for Labour.
From that article
"Ahmed previously took his case to the European court of human rights (ECHR) claiming that his all-white jury was biased, in breach of article 6 of the European convention on human rights which guarantees a fair trial.
Judges in Strasbourg unanimously threw out his case, finding there was “simply no proof” jurors acted improperly."
Sounds like the ECHR was against the accused
I think a lot of people confuse Boris's lack of personal appeal these days with his policies which in fact poll much higher.

BMW has been criticised for putting some of its cars' hardware features behind a paywall - meaning drivers will have to pay more to turn on heated seats, for instance.
Customers have criticised the company as "greedy and exploitative", according to technology news site The Verge, with many of these features already available as standard in most modern vehicles.
This has to be the most ridiculous idea I’ve ever heard, makes me ashamed to own a BMW now.

Its considered a safe currency and the fed is increasing interest rates faster than the rest. There is potentially a Euro crisis coming. ECB will have to increase rates like the rest of the central banks and no one knows if PIIGS have actually implemented any reforms that they promised 10 years ago.

First part of that is correct. People are buying up Dollars because there’s a global downturn on the cards.
The second part is weird given the sustained very positive reports from the IMF and World Bank on most of the PIIGS nations.
Ireland’s debt is well under control. Pre-pandemic, Spain’s was back under 100% of GDP and on an excellent trajectory, as was Portugal’s. Both were job creating and being lauded as excellent success stories.
Even Italy’s debt was falling, despite a decade with different bunches of populist clowns in charge.
The only one of the PIIGS countries still struggling was Greece.
That said, not only Portugal, Ireland and Spain, but also Greece have better short and medium term growth forecasts than the UK.
If the EU looks a little sluggish, it’s because Germany, France, and to an extent Italy are all slow out of COVID. Southern Europe is doing relatively very well.

All I can tell you is that there is some shorting going on. But we'll see. Keep in mind that there were similar reports of good health before the Euro crisis and lets be honest we don't know if what you say (and I have no reason to dispute it) will be proved true when ECB starts to increase interest rates. I think its fair to say what is publicly said to maintain market confidence and what is hidden in those government accounts are often two very different things.
