The very fact that he started off his letter by asking if the reporter was a Rangers supporter means he should be locked up for his own safety, Hannibal Desmond style. Rubber room, straight jacket, muzzle, the lot.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why?
Perfectly valid question for seeing why the reporter has a vendetta against someone who had done everything by the book.
Look at mark daly's tax records and he should be asking himself the same questions.

He’s doing what tims do. Defelecting the issue. See jfks posts about time of death for example

So it’s about conviction now?
Just like when it was ruled that EBTs were legal and we were then told it was about legalities but about moral and ethical responsibilities 😏

Anyway asking the guy some pertinent questions when he's involved with a very dodgy Isle of Man company is hardly a witch hunt.
Silly paranoid old man.

Are you ok?
But Rangers us of What's wasn't legal, was it?
And it directly affected the foot all team.
Desmond has done nothing illegal and it has had zero bearing on our football team or club.
I'm not sure what the comparison is there. The words straws and clutching spring to mind.
I don't agree with anyone avoiding tax as it makes a mockery of us who are forced to. You never see a poor person who has been caught swindling the taxman get away with it, not even with a small fine. Just as well rich folk are well connected and can afford top lawyers.

Yep, no comparison whatsoever. What a ludicrous idea !

Never been offended by people who pay less tax, wasn't offended when it was Rangers and not offended now it is DD. Ultimately these people employ top accountants to make sure they get as much for their earnings as possible and if there are legal ways to pay less tax then the law is at fault and not the individuals for using it to their advantage.
The only exception to that for me are the Royals, I think it is shameful if true that they have been using schemes to avoid it when the tax payer funds their existence and is currently paying for their house to be renovated.

You could logically argue the same as you did with Rangers that if any of the money he saves is invested in Celtic then they are directly benefiting from the scheme.
If he has more money as a result of a tax avoidance scheme then clearly it is the same as when Murray Holdings saved money through a tax scheme that allowed us to sign better players? In that sense for me it is double standards if you are outraged over one and not another.
