Eth has taken a pounding after resisting a crash for some time

This is not surprising to me when Vitalik recently said that they are around 50% of the way to reaching Eth 2.0 and that means that he's expecting another 6 years to completion. The main thing that has been holding its price being that a lot of people don't want to pay the ridiculously high gas fees to move it to exchanges for sale.

Maybe but it doesn't sound very hopeful when he followed that up with tweets asking the Ethereum community to vote on what their preferred choice of alternative blockchain would be as the dominant force in the future if it's not Ethereum.

Nope, not sure why you would assume that, I'm only stating what happened and the general feeling about it, even some of his own colleagues were disillusioned. I do think he's out of his depth with the problems they have to solve though and as bright as he may be I'm not convinced he has a great deal of common sense when it comes to surrounding himself with the right team and skillsets to overcome the hurdles they need to for Eth 2.0.

In fact that 3-way interview with the two other Ethereum guys suggested that even when Eth 2.0 is released it may still have unresolved issues.

Nothing launches perfect, in fact if that was the case nothing would get done in business

As long is its not like the Fallout 76 or Cyberpunk level of launch

this industry is crazy and breakthroughs can happen at anytime so who knows, could be a lot less than 6 years, could be 6, could even be more. Has Vitalik been pressed on this at all since that interview? I'm only speculating, don't know enough about Eth or development of Eth 2.0 to make any strong judgements on that, of course the potential for another 6 years was what spread like wildfire online.

You can log in but it still requires an extra level of security via authenticator app and so now I can't get into my account.

Any way you can just delete the Authenticator app and download a new one? I had a similar issue with Gemini but I deleted it and reinstalled a new think (think it was a different app) and it worked

I've always used Google Authenticator App.

Never had any probs with Google Authenticator
