Nothing strange at all IMO about this
He is the manager at the moment and gets asked questions which he has answered in a total “non story” manner, which is what he will have been told to do
The board have not made a statement as there is nothing to announce and they know they will get asked questions / make a statement on Thursday
There is nothing at all to prevent them from making announcements at an AGM, it is fairly common in fact
Nothing at all to see here, move on now

I do know the protocols for an AGM and you do not make huge announcements that require shareholders input without a forwarding and giving them a chance to vote or at least question it.
The chances of all this being kept under wraps by so many parties without even being hinted at is unlikely to say the least.
And why wait when they are so under pressure?

Every club talks to potential investors all the time.
The biggest issue of the day will be turning the loans into equity which will now get the approval.
I’m absolutely certain they’ll be saying they continue the search for the “right man”to manage Rangers and won’t be rushed. They’ll also say that they are in dialogue with potential investors. Who isn’t?
Hardly a big announcement is it? I’d be stunned if they don’t say something along those lines to appease the giddy hordes. There’d be carnage if they didn’t. But this time will they get away with mere platitudes?

All I am saying is that if they did want to state at an AGM that they are talking to potential investors then they would not need to put it on the agenda as some sort of pre approval
