I do have sympathy for them but don't agree with the clarification part. My sympathy is based on the fact that Celtic have 14 times their budget from those recent figures, and you are looking at controversial referee decisions impacting the outcome of two big games with them.
Put it this way, if both Celtic's fixtures with PSG boiled down to Neymar going down in the same type of penalty incident you would all be on here calling him a cheat and saying it was unfair, UEFA big team bias etc. Motherwell are just doing the same thing. I remember Martin O'Neill's outburst in Turin and the views when Celtic lost out in similar circumstances to a richer side so you can understand the frustration.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The size of the budget is irrelevant and the Juve penalty was as clear a dive as anything Tom Daley has ever produced.

Given the fact all of the pundits have changed their mind about the pen awarded on Wednesday given the new evidence(angle of it) then it's really one each over the course of the two games, we got a dodgy pen in the cup final and they got a dodgy free kick in the league game.
It's pretty simple.

Can't comment on those incidents NNH as I haven't seen them,
Thought as much.
The free kick did lead to a goal as many do though so it's a bit far fetched to say it doesn't have the same relevance so to speak.
People still greetin about our stonewall penalty the other night?

Well the conversion rate in the EPL last year was 75% for penalties and was a record low. Im pretty sure on average 75% of freekicks given are not converted into goals......so not comparable IMO

and end up losing through a controversial referee decision.
They didn't, we were leading 1-0 in the game.
Can't believe this fantasy is rumbling on.
Both were penalties.
Big cedric went in with the sole intention of impeding Sinclair. Had no interest in playing the ball. Deserved all he got.
Here's the referee's view of the pen on Wednesday, if you don't think that's a pen then you may as well quit now.

Yeah, which means it's a penalty
McGregor gets in front of the ball and the boy runs into the back of him. It's a pen.
