But all billionaires are absolute ruthless bastirts who don't give a fook about anyone else.
I've known two through work in my time and worked directly for one for a year...they're a breed apart.
Sometimes they develop a conscience as they get near their death bed but its more about protecting their perceived legacy by then.
The only exception is possibly the wealthiest man in history, Andrew Carnegie. The greatest Scot of all in my book. Gave away most of his money before it became fashionable to do so.
Built libraries all over the world...including Hamilton my home town.

Jim McCall, A billionaire with a social consience ,very rare in today's world.

*McColl
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Aye but that's how they spell it in his Monaco tax haven
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You can be so parochial at times
---------------------------------------------------------------------
indeed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sir Tom Hunter would be so offended if he read this.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't think he would. He tried to model himself on Carnegie. I think he'd be pleased that people remember Carnegie today.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well if you want to cherry pick front the sweeping statement you have a point I suppose.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'll stand by my point and even include Carnegie who banned employees from joining unions.
Yes...jim mcColl and Tom Hunter.....I'm sure they are saints. Why didn't you include Sir Tom Farmer in your comments.
At least he had the decency to help out his team when they were in need.
