Are you willing to let Celtic get 10 in a row if it means that you eventually will mount a challenge a few years down the line afterwards?
I doubt many fans would to be honest.

Personally, I couldn't give a fluck about 10 in a row.
But I tell you what, see if Rangers get bogged down in trying to stop it without proper planning for the future, Celtic could easily get to 15 in a row.

I would say that in order for it to happen we would need to make some very good decision at board level and Celtic would have make a few bad ones. But like you said us bringing in the right manager and if BR was to leave Celtic could bring in the wrong one. At the end of the day much much stranger things have happened in football. If Greece and win a euro champ, if Leicester can win the EPL then as they say anything is possible in football.

I am pleased it’s not McInnes.
I was not pleased when we went for him. In fact I was dreading him coming in and the types of players he would look to recruit.
The fact we have waited so long only to get a knock back does look amateurish. And whilst the statement says what quite a few fans down the lodge are probably thinking about McInnes - it was pathetic as an official statement.
I would give it to Murty to the end of the season with a set of specific targets. If he hits them he gets the job. If he’s not far off they review it and make a decision.
Murty really surprised me and impressed me with the two Aberdeen games. We should have beat Hamilton by half a dozen but mccrorie made a mistake and Morelos missed about 4 or 5 excellent chances. These things happen.
The Dundee game was more of a concern for me.
But Murty made bold decisions under a fair bit of pressure and managed to turn it around and get two excellent results.
And for that and his work over the piece he deserves an extended run.
As much as I am frustrated and annoyed at the whole situation I am genuinely delighted McInnes won’t be our new manager👍

I agree with just about all the OP said but cant really see why Murty who has been a real mixed bag in his 2 spells....he has been in charge for 12 games in those 2 periods and lost 4 games and drew a couple...just don't see why the clamour to be honest. The fact that I thought he was going to burst into tears at the Dundee post interview is disconcerting to say the least......maybe with McLeish at helm and Murty as assistant/ coach be more prudent!

7 is pretty much in the bag already, next season is huge though as if Rangers make an erse of the next appointment and Rodgers does want to stay then I think 8,9 and 10 will be fairly easy.

I would say that in order for it to happen we would need to make some very good decision at board level and Celtic would have make a few bad ones. But like you said us bringing in the right manager and if BR was to leave Celtic could bring in the wrong one. At the end of the day much much stranger things have happened in football. If Greece and win a euro champ, if Leicester can win the EPL then as they say anything is possible in football.
