Griffiths is a great wee player!

Both terrific strikers, happy to have them in the squad.

Griffiths gets a hard time because hes goal greedy and sometimes takes a shot rather than playing the pass and he's Scottish. Dembele is younger, stronger and French.

Also, you're unlikely to hold on to Dembele as he has a higher potential than Griffiths.

Griffiths is a great player but Celtic are a better side when Dembele plays. No surprise BR starts him in the bigger games. The performance at Pittodrie earlier this season sums up how much Dembele improves the side.

A few things worth considering.

Age - how good was griffiths at dembeles age?

Value - why has nobody been linked with with high value bids for griffiths?

I like griffiths, but dembele is a better all round player even at such a young age.

Also in terms of the stats up there we should probably go for kris boyd.

Dembele doesn't have a bad attitude like Griffiths.

2 good options to have

Dembele appears to be a model pro but Griff is like a wee ned.

Both great to have

A few points omitted here.

1) Who were goals scored against
2) How many were the difference between points gained and dropped
3) How do others perform with each player in the team e.g does Forrest score more on average per game with Dembele in the team than Griffiths in the team?

Id like these stats on my desk before 12.

P.S Dembele is twice the player Griffiths is

If you included stats for how often they scored off the pitch, I imagine Griffiths would win the head to head.

Or boaby to boaby anyway.

I agree that Dembele has a higher ceiling due to age and his physical attributes, but I don't think he's a better all round player yet, I actually think if you compare both Griffiths edges it due to his ability at dead ball situations and all round effort levels which is the main thing I have concerns about with Moussa.

His off the field controversies and being a scottish, skinny, balding, spuud lookalike is the reason he's not had the same type of hype in my opinion.

Great left foot , great finishes, works hard
Terrible football brain

His lack of awareness and decisions make Griffith's not worth having in the team imo
The amount of times we have played decent teams and he's done jack shat up front is a good stat to consider
Personally I would sell him and buy someone in

When you need to revert to stats I always feel the argument is lost

I really like Griffiths as a striker but he is not as good as Dembele when both fit and on form

What are the stats on passes, assists, touches of the ball etc?

I think it says enough that a half fit Dembele who hasn’t got going this season yet is coming up in transfer rumours but Griffiths doesn’t

I don’t think there are many natural goalscorers like Griffiths out there but football changes and players need to adapt. I don’t think Griffiths has

I gave you the assist stats, and as far as i'm aware no stat sites go that in depth on Scottish football.

I'd say that's true about 80% of the time.

Oops.

Brighton are a tad miffed that the argument that Rangers put forward in Jamie Murphy being a club footballer didn’t mean they could pay the fee off at a £1 a week. 🙁

Off the plane you come son 😂
