It's a bit of a long rant for it just to be deflection

Conte should know better and his reputation will have suffered as a result of this recent spat.
Mourinho, however, continues to be a manager without class, without respect, a spent force, one where past achievement and credentials have unfortunately been subsumed into an amalgam of child-like behaviour, amateur dramatics and petulant responses to any perceived slight. He is pure Hollywood and I think most are grateful for the entertainment value he provides.
Its true Mourinho has lost a lot of respect certainly about his conduct re other managers.
He doesnt have the same draw for players that he once did.
Dunno why hes become such a cant.

Looks like Mourinho has given up attacking Pep and Man City (metaphorically, he'd never attack them on the pitch) and gone for his nearest rival instead in Conte.

As I understand it he served a 4 month suspension while the matter was being investigated. The investigation found him innocent and cleared him of the charge of being aware and failing to report to authorities. He was never charged or suspected of being involved.
