Along with Eddie Howe Lee Johnson is one of the brighter English managers around at the moment. Learning their trade in the championship as Howe did with Bournmouth and Johnson is with Bristol City I'm hoping that in the future they can go on to manage firstly abroad to get continental experience before returning to take on a top Prem league team.
It's that flexibility to move abroad though that's hampered most English managers.
Sanchez move seems to be gathering pace. I hope that he isn't a disruptive influence by being a prima donna. It is a huge step up from Arsenal under Wenger to be playing for City under Pep. Not quite sure that the Fred thing is what is needed, good player, but another midfielder, really?
I see why players want to come, Walker moved to better himself and he has, massively. Much better player, albeit in a different calibre team.Sterling and Delph are almost unrecognisable from what they were a year or so ago but there are some good midfielders coming through the age squads and they can get so much experience from working in this squad I am not sure that more midfielders are needed.
