Alexis needs to go to City. Utd will be a terrible place for him to go to.

Nah reckon City is his first choice but he'd be happy to join United if he can't get his move. He definitely doesn't want to stay at Arsenal anymore. Fair enough. I've been an Arsenal fan for 30 years & after seeing Iwobi & Welbeck i want to change clubs too.

Hope he goes anywhere but City as with Jesus injured it finally makes sense to have Aguero in the FL league team.

If Sanchez goes there they might facking start to rotate again

Ps we're so sheeet it doesn't really matter whether he goes to United or City or whether we get cash or a player - we'll still be awful.

At the moment Sanchez could be going nowhere as Man City not willing to go above £20 million, I also don't think Sanchez would want to play for Man United.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

He may prefer City, true, but to suggest he wouldn't want to play for the biggest club in the land is lunacy.

He'd sooner play for Utd than Arsenal I'm sure.

Hmm I think it's quite likely he'd rather wait till summer and move to the club he wants than go to a club he might not fancy 6 months earlier.

United from a playing POV can't be very attractive to attacking players, City are light years ahead in that regard.

If Sanchez is going to whatever team, why was he trotted out by Wenger in the second half of the Carabao game this week against Chelsea? He won't be going anywhere is he gets hurt!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe becau the deal wasn’t that far along at the time. Players who are to be sold are usually not played the game before a move. By your logic, Sanchez would be unplayed for the next 2.5 weeks... or until the end of the season?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
becau.............because

Professor Song,
Thank you for analyzing my "logic". Whenever you have a player who, for all practical purposes is already "out the door", then playing him, even for part of a game, makes him vulnerable to injury and that could mess up the whole deal. As in no CASH for Arsenal and the injury list for Sanchez plus his salary! Have a great week-end!

You can still sign injured players.

So you knew that I meant "because"... well done.

As for the rest of your drivel, what say you to Jenius who responded to you just before I did in saying "RVP, Oxo and Nasri all played 48 hours before their moves. Nothing new."

Peace. Out.

I think you guys should take the Mkhitaryan swap deal and run.

The guy proved he's class at Dortmund and will have something to prove if he leaves us for a rival. I genuinely believe he is struggling not because he can't hack the PL, but because our counter attacking direct style of play doesn't suit him.

I mean seriously, what can 35m get you in this transfer market. It got Liverpool a Chamberlain, it doesn't even get Everton a Sigurdsson.

Think Sanchez will refuse to go to United and either force a move to City or just wait till summer to move there

posted on 13/1/18

It's in his hands. Ultimately he decides. Arsenal would be better off to keep him until the end of the season so he can help them get top 4. Otherwise money plus a player would be better than accepting a dismal amount. Makes Arsenal look like pushover really.

Personally, I don't think United are in for him. Just Arsenal and his Agent trying to make the most out of it. It's all a guess though. For all we know Sanchez could be mainly motivated by money rather than winning so won't mind being on the bench as long as he's getting a fat load of wedge.

Sell him to Liverpool for £100m+£1

Arsenal are complete mugs. I personally hope he stays till summer. Don't care about the club getting money, they've got enough

He's started 11 out of 22. But 8 of the last 10 that he's been available. He's established himself in the first team the last few months.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How many times has he played 90 minutes?

Seems whenever he is playing well he gets hauled off.

We are not getting top 4 it's the Europa we need to keep him for but wenger being wenger he'll be happy to please Pep.

Only 5 points off 4th. You'd have a better chance with him than without.

posted on 13/1/18

We ain't getting 4th to many good teams involved.

Sanchez off to United then.
