No fee, straight swap.

No way Wenger agrees to a straight swap without any cash

posted on 16/1/18

6 or so months left on his contract and he’s 29. If the transfer fee being banded around is 35 mill then Mkhi is definitely worth that much.

It makes sense.

Even thought Mhki has underwhelmed at United with over 2 years left on his contract and his Dortmund reputation how much do people think he's worth in todays market? In comparison Walcott who's the same age is going for £20m with 18 months of his contract left.

Also from everything we've read and heard so far the only stumbling block seems to be whether Mhki wants the move. There doesn't seem to be any issues from Arsenal over the fee/swap.

Cant for the life of me seeing a straight swap with no cash. That would be a hell of a deal for us so blatantly not going to happen.

Getting a bit fed up of it all now too.

In other news Jose is about to sign a new deal......

Cash is definitely involved, otherwise Arsenal would look to put a similar deal with a Manchester City player...

posted on 16/1/18

Who do City have of similar worth that they are willing to sell and who Arsenal want?

From Raiolas quotes it sounds like Mkhi is willing to move but Arsenal are giving him a crappy deal. He probably wants more money.

We were never going to do a player for player deal, last Summer Wenger wanted Sterling as a part ex, that was ludicrous.

So basically Mkhi decides whether we get Sanchez or not. I know he needs to do whats best for him but if he decides against it and we fail to get sanchez i can imagine many united fans including myself will be pretty fecked off with him especially after the shower of sheite performances he has been putting in

I can't imagine the deal can only happen with Mhki, Arsenal would just prefer it. I'm sure Arsene accepts Sanchez wants out and keeping him for the remainder of the season is pointless. If he can't get Mhki then it's in Arsenal's best interests to sell Sanchez and use the money on someone else, maybe Aubameyang or that kid in France according to the papers.

That'd be a great deal.

Varane and Verratti is a pipe dream.

posted on 16/1/18

People realise we need to sell to buy yeah? We've maxed the squad out.

posted on 16/1/18

If the move is dependent on miki can you imagine the reaction if he refused to go

So there’s no possible way we can have Sánchez without moving on someone from the squad?

posted on 16/1/18

This isn’t happening unless Mkhi agrees and there’s no sign of him doing so. The BBC are also saying Arsenal won’t just accept cash, they want Mkhi in the deal. Can’t see why Mkhi would wanna go to Arsenal tbh, so I think this deal is dead.

I think if we get Sanchez, Zlatan will also move to MLS for February too.

Miki and Zlatan apparently on roughly 350k between them so wages would be covered and we'd be paying no fee IF sky are to be believed.

But it seems like too good of a deal to be true to me.

Can we not just empty Darmian’s locker, change the lock and ignore all his calls?

posted on 16/1/18

We could unregister a player I guess. But when does that ever happen?

Jose said last night he wants a squad of 22, so if someone comes in, someone leaves, his words

I'm wondering whether a loan deal could be struck where we just buy Sanchez and Mkhi goes there on loan with option to buy. If Arsenal don't take up the option we can either decide to keep him (unlikely) or sell him on. Perhaps Dortmund would be interested then?

All sentiment aside if that happens it should be Zlatan taken off.

Surely the deal can't be that good?? (from our side?)

There has to be some money involved.

I'm sure Ed will do all in his power to make sure Arsenal get some money somehow.

United need to make the deal sweeter for Wenger if Mkhitaryan refuses.
Perhaps a two for one offer, Smalling and Fellaini.
