Been a few:

The Crow - 6.5/10

Pulp Fiction - 9.5/10

Total Recall (the original, not the shiiite remake) - 9/10

Doctor Sleep - 7.5/10

Unhinged - 4/10

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pulp fiction, unpopular opinion but massively overated. I haven’t seen it a long while so might reevaluate but I remember wondering what all the fuss was about.

Tenet 9/10.

Spectacular entertainment! Not sure why it got such mixed responses, I loved it.

Because its too woke and you have to use your head to enjoy the movie. A lot of people prefer simple and direct solutions. Complex things don't gain traction too much anymore.

They literally tell you what to do at the beginning!

Tenet just didn’t make much sense. Entertaining and mostly very well done (Nolan is almost unmatched in these sort of thrillers, his movies have a an tense feel to them), but still half baked nonsense..

Not for me. I might have felt like that at one point, but this last watch I can appreciate how clever, original and groundbreaking it was for the time, and it adds to the enjoyment. The different characters, the unorthodox narrative, the use of music, the little talking points Tarantino leaves in like what's in the suitcase or why Marcellus Wallace has a plaster on the back of his neck etc..

Even without its importance influentially, it still holds up as a very entertaining movie. Some well written and acted scenes filled with tension. I think it's deserving of its high status.

I need to watch Jackie Brown again cause many people argue that's better and I didn't feel that way from my first watch.

Watched both again recently, love Jackie Brown, but Pulp Fiction is a masterpiece for me.

Don’t get me wrong it’s well crafted, the story told in a non linear order and the things you detail are indeed impressive. Tarantino for me often has dialog I feel that is just interesting fluff and don’t do much for the story. I just didn’t enjoy it that much, maybe I’ll revisit

Watched drag me to hell. Surprised that it didn’t come with an ‘outdated warning’ given its portrayal of those cursed gypos. Decent movie.

Yeah great mix of horror and comedy.,could have all been avoided at the start, she could have just upsold /reframed the fact that the gypo will loose her house yes, but she’d get to live in a caravan after. And leave fridges and domestic apploances wherever she parks it..

Everyone’s a winner.
