Mulholland Dr is one I saw at a youngish age. Confused the feck out of me. Scared me. Made me cry. A while I didn't even know what was really going on. Later on you find out what he is doing, what he is showing you, how he is telling a story in a completely different way and you appreciate it to no end.

Even when I didn't get it though it stuck with me. The scenes would stick out in my mind in extreme detail and I would think about and obsess over them. That too me is just as important or maybe even more so than sitting down and enjoying a film easily and straight through. Sometimes that's too easy though.

it is good too b challenge in whut ur watching sometimes tho, yer?

Not when there’s no sense in at all.,I like been challenged but it needs a slightest hint at resolution, not just vague madness. Like he decided, I’ll use the same cast, and just make up some totally different scenes, and say it’s a film.,

Nah man, it's okay to admit when you don't get some things. Lynch is a master at his craft. Sometimes it isn't so much what he's saying as it is the emotions he evokes from the viewer.

Code word for art house bullshiiiit really. Half baked nonsense.,master of his craft. Yeah if watching a film confuses the crap out of you, or makes you feel ill (eraserhead-facking hate that film) is masterful…

That’s me signing out to become a marvel fan boy (sorry pun)

Eraserhead is fantastic.
a truly grate movie

You are dead to me now 4za. That film is an abomination (though I’ve a bit of respect to what he achieved visually with the budget, the rest can fack off)

Scarface - 9/10

Can’t believe I’d never seen it before; awesome film.

Cape Fear - 6/10

Between this and Taxi Driver, Robert de Niro seems like the inspiration for most modern “cerebral” antagonists.

Till Death - 2 or 3 /10

Awful film with awful acting. Megan Fox maintains a perfect face of makeup regardless of being beaten, covered in blood, submerged in icy water, you name it.

Just out of curiosity...
In my fading memory I think I remember watching a video box set (yes it was years ago) of Godfather 1+2 but chronologically, so it starts as Vito as young boy in Sicily, why and how and why he moves to NY and travels right through to Michael closing the door on his missus.
Anyone else seen this?
