He wasn’t overly a bad guy, just an utter waaanker. Totally unlikable. Reckon it was his kid, and not an orphan. Because the movie goes out of its way to portray him as a piece of shiiiit.

He murdered 2 innocent people and responded to his son setting up his own business by telling him he found him in a bucket. How is that not an "overly bad guy" ?

not sure if that's a serious question or not, but if so then the answer's no. it's set in the 6th form of a british grammar school, following their attempts to get into oxford and cambridge.
Decent film with the Gavin & Stacey cast, or at least some of them

I'll give Gran Torino 7.5
I remember Minority Report favourably, but the premise behind it is soooo absurd.
Movie abandoned at 31.22.
Mortal kombat 7/10 no worse than most marvel movies..apart from the music at the end.

The idea behind the film is that 3 humans with psychic powers who were born within a few years of each other, are put into a swimming pool where they spend their lives plugged into to some tv screens.
When someone is going to commit a murder, they generate a wooden ball which appears in a lottery type machine, with the name of the murderer etched into the ball.
This enables the special agents to intercept the would be murderer before he can carry out the crime.
The US has not recorded a single murder since this began. All of the people who would have been murdered were white and middle class.
In Pursuit of Happiness (8/10.)
never thought much of Will Smith before this film, certainly changed my mind.

ha, i'll agree with you on the first, which is a top 3 comedy film of all time, but the sequel had to lose a few points for either just repeating the exact same joke as the original, or doing jokes that were very similar but ever so slightly worse than the first one.
and no leslie nielsen.
28 days later 7/10.
shame it turned into another farcical anti british army movie.
