Everything Everywhere All at Once pays homage to it during some of the scenes.

They are very different though. In The Mood for Love is slow pased but cinematically beautiful.

I really like Anya Taylor-Joy, its just not enough to keep me interested.

The plot is just really bad. Feels like Edgar Wright doesn't know how to write female characters. It gets some points for some fairly good cinematography though.

Ashes of Time is ‘difficult’ but I enjoyed it

Itsa wuxia moovie without much fiting in it n is more about how being a badass kung fu swordsman messes ur life up

I will have to check more of his stuff out 4za!

Although, tomorrow I'm either likely to checkout The Seventh Seal or Persona!

I don’t really get this. When people say things like “they really know how to write female characters” or don’t know how. It’s generally fictional and the personas are endless.

Like how do you go and prove that the character didn’t base it on someone exactly as the person in the film? Is it because it’s a character you don’t like or seems unbelievable? Doesn’t fit the role?

In the end most is just for entertainment and just meant to make sense within the fictional story being told.
