the loving cup
god love them, and the pride they show in their own stupid traditions
is it not as a mark of respect to some workplace disaster back in the day that we played some sorta charity match to raise funds for and we were given the cup as a reward?
If thats the sorta thing you wanna slag a club for then so be it!
U may have got it for that but its not why u do the ceremony yearly is it.
Its, in typical rangersy fashion, to sook the arsse aff the monarchy

I must admit i laughed like fook when i saw it first with Charles Green, but i didn't know the back story to it. Now, knowing the reason Rangers do it, good for them i say.
Makes a change from venom spewing from the stands, so well done lads

Was it not upon request of the guy from Stoke who gave it to us that we toast the monarch on the first game of the year?
it was del, the request that you toast to the health of the monarchy on the first home game of every year.
tbh if it just said a reminder of those that lost their lives i would think its a terrific thing, but not keen on the fact that its turned to toast the monarchy rather than the victims.
not that rangers set the terms
