read somewhere on twitter last night that murty was questioning how realistic it was?
see tbh, it has to be true for rangers sake.
if not they have made a fool of their manager and possibly have a player who's attention will be elsewhere.
IF, and i accept its a big if, this is traynors work, then that fat clown has to go for the sake of your club.
too many unknowns.... does anyone know if Morelos would even entertain the move. If not its all irrelevant.
anything would just be a guess, that and the chinese window isnt shut yet so he can still go yet
Now given the well reported financial situation at Rangers
——————-
Other explanation is that this “financial situation” isn’t as dire as everyone says.

“Now given the well reported financial situation at Rangers in which many of us are wondering where the cash is coming from to fund certain deals I find it hard to believe had there actually been a bid of £6.5-8M we would have turned that down on a player signed for £1M 6 months ago.”
The well reported by red tops and tims?
Murty addressed the reported finances at gers and said those on outside have no idea. S

If it wasn't real it was all a bit of a waste of time as it has unsettled one of our main players.
I think it was real and I think it wasn't far off going through - hence the move for McBurnie.
Whilst we need money I also think the board are determined to get decent deals when they sell players. We appear to have knocked back offers for Morelos and Windass in the window.
I don't think the Chinese were too far off with the offer for morelos. And whilst he would maybe have gone for the money I don't think it was a necessary or a good career mover for Morelos.
If he knuckles down and performs second half of the season he will get his move.

ps Morelos also has a £10m release clause, which is why this is the value rangers quoted as him being valued at.
“Other explanation is that this “financial situation” isn’t as dire as everyone says.”
Spot on . Murty said this yesterday, the op should really have known this before making this post.

Not entirely sure what financial situation issues are, yes Rangers are being funded by money from shareholders, shareholders who have advised all monies owed will be transferred to shares, they now have the right to make the share issue and then there will be no debt.
I think this is where Mark Allen is coming into the equation. He now looks to have a grip on things and has brokered the transfers really well.
I think he's made a really positive impact.

What?
You think your financial situation is exaggerated when it’s written up in your own sets of audited accounts as trading at a loss and requiring further soft loans to carry on?
These are your own accounts! 😳
Think the “cold shouldering” from the city and investors alike is also exaggerated when no financial institution the world over will lend to you. That and King on a shaky appeal to try and not being forced to set aside many millions he claims he has no control over?
And all of this dependent upon a 5 year plan (already over a year in) which states quite clearly that it depends upon Group stage qualification in Europe for two out of those five years?
Aye, not bad at all.
Ffs 😂😂😂
I find this op very strange...

Why?
It actually asks the questions you should ask and not just blindly bury your heads in the sand.
I find you strange.
So there.

Bit of context please.
It’s one humdinger of an own goal if it’s made up pisssh.
That’s why there surely has to be something as there’s still a whole month to go in their transfer window.
Surely?
It’s as if celtics manager has been caught out with the Musonda thing and some tims are desperate for us too make a Kant of it as well imo
