There is an arrogance about Celtic fans that somehow they need to know the ins and outs of any confidential discussions to approve the validity or it is nonsense.
If several football journos in this country have got wind of that story, and verified its validity as at least 2 I know if did and it checks out, why would they need to lie? They aren't PR men they are journos.
It is strange that the BBC Scotland Tennis correspondent sends a tweet which is factually disproved and that is seen as more valid than the guys who are sourcing the story.
