That was the exception to the rule. Chelsea have been terrible since December and that Bournemouth game was a shocker. Do you honestly not think there are big issues at the club?

Rodgers is a classic case of good coach/bad manager. If we radically changed our strategy and started pumping all our youth players into the team (and committed fully) then yeah he'd be a great appointment, more of them would exceed their potential than not under his guidance. But otherwise no way, was out of his depth at Liverpool, wouldn't last the season before drowning in our chair.
Klopp's kind of the reverse. Average coach, one trick tactician, but he can energize and motivate players to do anything. Between the two of them he'd hypothetically be the better manager for us.

I agree with your sentiments on Rodgers, he also has no idea how to build a team. He was so scattergun in approach with transfers under us, nearly every summer we were trying to bed in 7 new players.
Klopp i agree he’s not the best tactician the worlds ever seen however i disagree he’s an average coach. He’s made most players better since coming in and the reason he is kind of a one trick Pony is because his one trick is so hard to counter. His in game tactics are poor for the most part when things aren’t working for us though.

The league was weaker back then robb. Yourselves were a shambles under your boy moysey. Chelsea were in their first season with Jose again which he never wins the title in normally, spurs were eh, arsenal were arsenal and city were decent but not great.
And i disagree with your assertion well never come close to winning the league under Klopp. I think we could surprise a few people next season, the squad is building nicely.
I think Klopp could go anywhere and within a number of weeks get a side playing great, attacking football. And I rate him more than any United fan should
But I really think his Achilles heel is organising a defence. How was Rodgers in that regard?
