Expected much more from Parker I have to say. I know Chisora is a dangerous fighter and possesses good power/aggression, but Parker was very amateurish for more than half of those rounds.
In the end, his superior stamina, agility and speed probably got him over the line, but he could have no complaints if Chisora got the W from the judges.
Feel bad for Chisora though, as he's been on the wrong end of some split decisions and today was another one.
One thing I find annoying though, it’s like I have no real interest in canelo / BJS, because BJS hasn’t got the power to knock him out he can only win on points and even if he does win you know he’s not going to get the decision
Also, I think that fight definitely showed Parker is not an elite level boxer and would get beaten comprehensively by AJ and Whyte (again), Fury would dismantle him with ease as well, Wilder would likely have him and I even think Joe Joyce would - and I don't even rate Joyce!
Granted he’s lost pretty much to every top boxer but Chisora’s resume is probably the best in boxing currently and to be fair he’s always given it a good go and made it a tough fight in pretty much all of them bar Fury II
Will always have my utmost respect

I still think Ruiz beat him too just a dodgy decision
Parker's been living off that points loss to AJ where AJ played it safe and didn't even try and knock him out because he thought he was fighting Wilder next
Fury x 2
Whyte x 2
Takam
Usyk
Parker
Pulev
Helenius
Vitali
Haye
Even fighters like Price, Kingpin Johnson, Sexton, Danny Williams, Kabayel, Sptizka
Fought a lot of tough opponents
I’d love to see Chisora vs Ruiz, hell I’d even like to see him vs Wilder, AJ, Hunter, Povetkin
Apart from Fury II and Haye (albeit he still had some success) I don’t think he’s really been embarrassed in any of those fights either, Gave Vitali one of the toughest fights I saw Vitali have too
Parker I think is simply too nice - he has no dog / spit / meanness - too quick to smile in the ring at his opponent, I think this is why he tends to coast in spots - it's like he doesn't like actually boxing.
Yup even pre fight he's too nice and polite, there's moments to get a psychological edge or trash your opponent but he just praises them.
Yeah he does seem a bit too nice and that might be a flaw in his mentality. Like his losses to Joshua and Whyte back to back after going unbeaten didn't seem to phase him that much. Makes me think he doesn't hate to lose as much as other fighters, or doesn't mind not winning as much, however you want to put it.
Didn’t bother with tonight’s fights, seems missed a decent main event? Ngl the whole coin flip stuff etc just made it too much for me, put me off watching. Far too blatant.
Fell asleep but sounds like chisora lost another close decision.
Also another week without announcement on Joshua-fury. Hearn probably do an interview with ifl tell everyone it’s close, fury will call out aj and Frank Warren will say that Hearn is lying. Been clear that was the fight since AJ beat pulev 6 months ago, bit long now.
Think Aj might end up fighting usyk in mean time and fury-Wilder 3. More likely to happen in my head at least.
Not sure the public will accept that. Almost nobody wants a third Fury Wilder fight and can't imagine there are many who'll be too excited about watching AJ fight a blown up cruiserweight who has very little experience at HW.
If AJ isn't going to fight Fury then he needs to give Dillian Whyte a rematch. That's a fight that the public genuinely would like to see.
We always get loads of corners v these
Fury will be out of the ring for about 18 months if he fights AJ in the summer, he's the one fighter who could handle that best but part of me thinks he's just playing games

I think it will happen in 2021. The only question that I really have is when it will happen.

The public will be disappointed but they will move on if the fight doesn't happen.
Aj vs Whyte? Nobody wants to see that. The fans clearly want to see Wilder vs Whyte.

I think there are a lot of people who'd like to see AJ vs Whyte again given how much Whyte has improved since their first fight and how he most definitely deserves a title shot.
Where are all these fans calling for Whyte vs Wilder ? I haven't seen them. Wilder is a down and out right now with no title. Also the guy seems to have lost the plot since his loss to Fury.
And if the AJ vs Fury fight falls through then who else would AJ fight that deserves a title shot more than Whyte ?

I guarantee if you done a poll online, more people would want to see Whyte vs Wilder.
As far as AJ's options outside or Fury, he has Usyk,Wilder.
