Chisora has power late in the fight and all it takes is one shot.

Credit to Chisora for digging in. As for Parker, this does little to elevate him.

Parker ain't pulling any trees either

Chisora is just a tough journeymen now. ⁰

Parker lacks the power but he has an exceptional chin.

I think tonight shows he has power but he lacks aggression. If he had the aggression of say a Whyte or Wilder he may still be unbeaten now.

Don’t think he’s got the actual boxing ability to bother mid level heavyweights. He’s got a great chin but past that it’s jab to the body and throw a right hand.

He was close to stopping Whyte. Had the fight gone on for another minute he'd have won.

He's just too nice. Let Derek off the hook 3 times tonight when he could have had him out in the early rounds. He has a good chin as well so he can afford to risk letting his hands go and trying to finish the fight off. All it does by taking the safe approach is give Chisora time to recover and getting unnecessary punishment up to the 12th round.

Anyone else been keeping up with this Fury/Whyte/AJ/Usyk saga?

Purse bids for Fury vs Whyte set for tomorrow.

posted on 27/1/22

AJ will take the 15-20m to let Fury fight Usyk. Who wouldn't?

Then late summer/autumn he will fight the winner of Fury V Usyk contractually. In the meantime he can have a PPV/Wembley and fight Whyte.

posted on 27/1/22

I wouldn't begrudge him for taking the step aside but as a boxing fan, I'd want him to avenge the loss to Usyk.

Either way, it does seem like Fury vs Whyte is going ahead and AJ vs Usyk will be in May/June.

Can any of you lads explain what a purse bid means for a casual like me? I got an idea

Just seen Warren’s secured the purse for the Fury Whyte fight
