Had many a run in with squid on the bbc 606. He was a proper yido and really knowledgeable poster. Much like myself he fought his corner hard. Site lost some quality when he stopped posting.

If we can get the address via grand or GG (if they could email details to Admin instead of posting on here?) then we can sort something??

Galv...........if I was not away on holiday I would have definitely gone up to the East Midlands for the funeral. Which I assume will be fairly soon, certainly before we get back on 8th March

For everybody else on squids behalf I thank you for your comments he really was a top guy and if you do organise anything let me know and I will check his fave charity with Barb or give an address for flowers.

Despite our many squabbles on here we are all Spurs fans and when bad things happen we need to stick together.

Admin2 and I would of course gladly contribute should anyone who knew squid or his wife wish to organise anything. He was certainly one of the key ex 606 members who joined ja606 who gave the site a credibility and quality with regards to Spurs and a desire for decent debate. He will be missed on here.

Squids funeral took place last Tuesday the 6th.

I did not post on here because no flowers were wanted and any donations were to go to The Diabetes Foundation.

I di inform his wife Barbara of the interest and response from this forum and she was suitably moved.

I've not been on here much in the past couple of years and have just found this article, ironically 2 years to the day since it was posted.

Grand, i know from the old days on 606, you and Squid/Tim were great friends. When he moved North i actually contacted him through facebook when he asked for some advice.
We spoke on the telephone and he was, as you say, a lovely man. I'm really sorry to hear this, all be it belatedly.
