The guys is just unreal. He plays for City but I have to show my appreciation for the guy. He would walk into any team in the work.

Our Finance team are pretty good actually. Got a couple of ex amateur players in there. They are usually fitter than the other teams at work.
He would walk into any team in my work, as well.
The IT department's 5-a-side team is pretty good, but I still think he'd walk into it

If he can walk he'd be in that team immediately. Bunch of NERDS.
I have seen some brilliant players over the years but unless you have been to a game and seen him live you can’t really understand his brilliance.
His ability to receive the ball in crowded areas and find a pass is second to non.
Bernado doesn't look to shabby either
I wouldn’t say ever, no,
As playmakers go right now, I’d say Hazard, Salah and De Bruyne are as good if not better.
His touch yesterday to set himself for his goal, incredible.

Just because they've all got Asperger's, doesn't mean they can't play football.
They won the Asset Management Sector Administration Department Cup 3 years running. (It's the CL for Admin departments in the asset management sector)
Hazard doesn't control games like Silva. Kdb needs a few more seasons
For what he does, which is more often than not the pass before the pass, as well as his ability to retain the ball and shift play twenty yards up the pitch, then I personally haven't seen better.
Not sure Hazard or Salah are comparable really, they are more attacking playmakers. KDB is a bit of a hybrid between the two.

Hazard has been one of the best in the league for years and can be as devastating as if not more so than silva.
Pires is the best playmaker the PL has seen, followed in my opinion by Robben, unless you can class a Ronaldo as a playmaker from his time at United out on the wing.
Think the definition of a playmaker is being pretty stretched now...

I don’t think he gets the credit for his work rate and defensive duties, he’s all over the pitch.

Seems to be defined as 'anybody who can pass a ball'.
Silva is the best playermaker in PL history, probably won't stay that way if KDB is here for the long term though

How so? I think to the contrary it has been distorted to mean central midfielder who plays from deep, just because some teams relied on the likes of Pirlo, Scholes and Gerrard to fulfil the role.
Pires was the archetypal playmaker and probably the revolutionised the role in the PL era.

Then you started mentioning Ronaldo and Robben.
I think so. Modric had a season where he was on par but traditionally the league has not been blessed with many of these types.
I don't see Pires, Hazard or Robben as the same type of play maker. Hazard and Coutinho had/have moments when they come deeper and I think they could do it but do their best work in the final third. If you do that you may as well include Zola and Berkamp.
Dembele, when he's on it, can hit a very high level. Fabregas had his moments too as did Scholes.
But Silva looks the standout.
Silva is probably the best yeah. Unreal player.
Pires, Baggio, Messi, Zidane, Pirlo, Kaka, Hagi, Bergkamp, Xavi, Ronaldinho, Scholes, Messi...
All playmakers, who played in a variety of positions.
Oh and Alonso. His final season was boss.
