I'll go clear snow, play this game and get neves suspension out the way, if not be misses the villa

Should the club get extra money from sky
have to think of some replacement entertainment, but not much I prefer to watching this Wolves side
OFF - as I warned you all on Wednesday.
UNC knows
Neves suspension was two games wasn't it? He'll be available for villa provided the Leeds game goes ahead.
Can't say I'm disappointed, wasnt looking forward to sitting on my backside off for two hours in this weather.
Quite a lot of snow in the area last night so pretty inevitable it would be off. Most games cancelled today are being rearranged for March 13 or 14. If it’s not then with the Leeds game then an international break there are no other free dates until well into April
townie wimps
woman in our village shop walked through drifts up to 12 foot to get to work - couple of inches in the towns and they sh!t themselves
With the Villa match also off the only game of any interest to us is Derby v Fulham. A draw would be perfect.
I wonder if I can pretend the game is on so my missus doesn't have a go at me for sitting in front of the computer all afternoon?
Nicey, would have liked to see her walking through drifts more than twice her height. They certainly make them tough out your way.
she videod it on her phone but wouldnt let me upload it even if i knew how to because of her language when she fell into one of the drifts !!!

Walked through a 12 foot drift
----------------------------------------------------------------------
walked through the part that was waist height - they do slope away
Remember being stuck on a train from Birmingham to Wolverhampton after a serious downfall of snow. The train stopped 500 yards short of Wolverhampton station and we sat there for 2 hours. Then one guy decided he was going to jump out and walk to the station and everyone was saying we will if you will. He jumped out and disappeared up to his neck in snow. Needless to say nobody followed.
Halfy’s a leader, not a follower. Had I been on that train I’d have led the trainsters to safety
The UK is hopeless when it comes to anything resembling poor weather
Might not be a bad thing as it gives us a breather we probably needed.

This is how it's done
Well here's an up to the minute story:
Just tried to get to the nearest shop which is a 4 mile drive. First mile the roads were fine then, once I got past the nearest village, the drifts on the side of the road started to get deeper and the track between them started to get narrower. After about half a mile I decided to stop to put Landrover in 4-wheel drive, snow setting - big mistake.
Couldn't get enough purchase to creep forward so tried to reverse, straight into an even deeper section of drift, probably about 2 - 3 feet at this point. Spent the next 20 minutes inching backwards and forwards, seemingly making things worse as the snow was now abobove my wheels front and back.
Got out of car on passenger side as my door completely blocked and proceeded to dig snow away from wheels with bare hands (of course I hadn't taken a shovel with me ). No improvement.
Just about to give up and walk to the nearest farm but my pride, not wanting to look the complete tw@t I actually was, thought I'd give it another 5 minutes.
Then managed to reverse plough though the snow and, keeping moving, reversed for about half a mile until I could safely turn round.
Just got home.
What an idiot. Like to think I'll learn from that but probably not.
Missus was annoyed because I couldn't get her paper.
Halfy’s no quiter ! He’d have delivered the paper to the dame
So the moral of the story? Try harder?
Yes .....God never knocked a tryer
