Wolves off to China...
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-5542761/Wolves-players-ditch-Las-Vegas-trip-China-secure-Premier-League-promotion.html
What a mess Albion are in. Record investment, going into the red, and going down. Real danger they could be in for a long spell outside the top flight unless they make good use of their parachute money.
As for Wolves going to China, you can’t help feeling that could turn into a habit. There is an enormous financial benefit to gain if they can market themselves into being China’s team in the Premier League. Pay per view tv plus merchandise sales could bring in a fortune given the size of the Chinese market
Agreed DJ. When Perugia signed Japanese super star Nakata, reports circulated his shirt sales pretty much covered his transfer fee. If we can tap into that market
Joe Mason on the mark for Colorado Rapids just 8 minutes into his debut yesterday

2.1 tons of heroin ! no wonder they beat us.
meanwhile the football league hold an investigation into why wolves keep winning
The situation at WBA probably isn't as dramatic as the press are making out but it does underline that their owners have done as much as they're going to do for now. If they're having to negotiate with the banks, then they're obviously not going to loan more in to the coffers.
The situation is compounded by the fact that most of their investments are probably worth less than what they paid for them. Dont know what they paid for Rondon, but he and Evans are maybe the only ones they could possibly recoup their outlay on.
Next season will rest on how many players want away and how many are up for the 46 game challenge.
Such a shame.
Will their expensive ‘misfits’ be able to do it on a cold winters night in Barnsley?

£12million for Ronny Oldy, bit much for a 1 goal in 5
striker ? Still let us not mock the boggies and show a bit more class. yeah right.
When you compare Albion and Wolves, you see many similarities. Chines owner, massive investment in playing staff, facilities and infrastructure, etc.
The glaring difference though is the choices of head coach. Albion chose to go the tried and tested route with Pulis and Pardew whereas Wolves chose to take a gamble on a foreign coach with a good pedigree.
To be fair, this could have backfired big time but instead Nuno has used his past experience and contacts to bring in players that he knew would work together to produce the playing style and results that he wanted.
In a nutshell, we got it right, they didn't and as a result we will be swapping places
Albion bought players that have done little for them. £30m on Burke, Rodriguez and Zhang. Burke has been injured but is surely not worth £13m. Rodriguez is ok but not worth £12m.
But the signing of Xhang is much more worthy of an investigation than any of the Wolves deals. Bought for over £5m by a Chinese owner from a Chinese club. Immediately loaned to Bremen for 2 years on a loan fee of £270k. Not been good enough for Bremen who want to cancel the loan. Looks very much like the Albion owner was doing a favour to a club in China
Neves on the bench for Portugal. Hope he stays there.
After 65 mins, U23's 0-2 down at home to the leaders, Blackburn.
Lost 0-3. Ofosu-Ayeh got another 68 mins.
i still to this day have absolutely no idea who Burke is or where he came from
And did they really pay 12m for Rodriguez? Decent player but well past his prime.

As he holds the record transfer of a Scottish player, best asking a Scotsman that takes a keen interest in football
