glad you got the joke Dung your they are not neither are we but some feel like we have the right to be although i would not mind five back to back premier wins and a have an unchanged manager for four year add our owners cash and they might do a leicester

Care to translate that into English nev?

Nev - there aren’t many Burnley players who would get in our team, and that’s the point.

Dyche has good players playing great.
Puel has great players playing pants.

But it’s all down to the players.

And by the way, Pope has been excellent for Burnley this season, behind a solid defender who protect him well. He’s definitely one for the future, but I’m not sure he’s quite ready yet. Don’t forget he’s still second choice!

It’s all down to the players and not the manager? The three listed were all regulars in the team that won the league.

If Wes is no longer what we need and doesn’t fit Puel’s style then why does he keep picking him over Dragovic? If Simpson isn’t a marauding right back then why does Puel insist he undertake that role.Admittedly Schmeichel is having the poorest season I can remember since his Championship days and there isn’t much competition for his place.

You can keep trying to put square pegs in round holes or you can try something different. Each game is a carbon copy of the previous one: slow tempo to start, poor in the final third, no creativity - then suddenly look half the team we should be when chasing the game forces us to play at a higher tempo. - And repeat! We know this team plays well when it plays with urgency.

If the problem is that we need a style to suit our players then Puel probably isn’t our man. If we need the players to suit Puel’s style then we probably need a new squad.

The area of debate is and was (no matter how many times Nev re-phrases it) do we trust Puel with the task of identifying a significant number of players and integrating them into a team? A style that is quite alien to many in our current squad. Have we seen evidence that, even if Puel gets the right players, he can make his style (based on high amounts of possession) transfer into winning football. Possession or no possession is irrelevant if we’re ineffective in the final 3rd.

It’s not a question of racism, style or substance. It’s a question of trust!

Blatant Nevophobia.

Even Chris Wood is scoring goals for Burnley.

Blimey.

I’d take Tarkowski tomorrow mind. He looks a right player.

Dung's your man for nevspeak

I think even Dunge would struggle with that.

*Ahem*. Nev says...

"glad you got the joke Dung"
--------
I pointed out an inconsistency in his argument, but he was spoofing me!

"your they are not neither are we but some feel like we have the right to be although"
--------
These are a group of words that passed a spellcheck.

"i would not mind five back to back premier wins and a have an unchanged manager for four year"
--------
Burnley are currently on a run of 5 wins out of 5 and have great consistency in their management as they continue an upwards trajectory, and I'm sure we'd be happy with that at our own club right now.

"add our owners cash and they might do a leicester"
--------
They might even win the league if they had powerful financial backers.

I thank you.

Interestingly, I see many similarities between what Puel is saying he’s trying to achieve and what guardiola has done at Man City.

If Puel genuinely believes he can do the same thing here with our resources, then As much as I’d love to, don’t trust him.

Hmm Nev's mate Matt Elliott ( when he says what Nev likes to hear ) was quite critical of Maguire tonight on RL.

posted on 16/4/18

What did he say TB?

posted on 16/4/18

He said that Wes gets a lot of stick and he thinks it's unfair, he seeme4d to suggest some fans still hold it against Wes because he came to us from Forest!!

Then went on to say Maguire needs to step up his game as well and it's all of them, not just Nev's fall guys.

posted on 16/4/18

On saturday he said the same but still thought kasper should come for the ball as for Fuff sake he's a goal keeper the ball was a looping corner. But you keep defending our crape goalkeeper TB like Craig neither now fit for purpose

Don't worry Nev, you can bander all your Rascist Cr&p about for effect but you can't wind me up.

Retire Wes at the end of the. Fantastic player for us over the years but we need some fresh blood along side Harry next season. Dragovic would be perfect but I think Puel has facked any chance of that happening.

posted on 16/4/18

Wes keeps getting called out but who picks him every week, who put him straight back in the team after injury despite the great partnership formed by Drag and Harry?

posted on 16/4/18

Probably due to this nonsense in football that the captain must play. He's done at this level for me.

It seems there are untouchables and others who get dropped constantly despite having good games, a split squad, great for moral and doesn't it show with how the games go.

Ironic that we played really well on Saturday after going 2 nil down, all the pretty play dropped faster than Trump does FBI chiefs and back to the Leicester way to stage a fight back, just like WBA and Brighton.

To be 9 points behind Burnely is nothing short of disgraceful.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Bit harsh on Burnley more of a disgrace that Arsenal are only 2 points AHEAD of Burnley and Chelsea only 8.
