Pretty much spot on. We've got the players to play some really fluid attacking football and yet we persist with Lukaku.

At last, a person who agrees with me. He’s a woeful player. We’ve had Hughes, Cantona, RVN, RVP, Rooney, Tevez, Ole, Cole, Yorke, Berbatov and Sheringham. Lukaku is not better than any of those strikers.
Xxxxxx
No shame in being behind that list, amazing strikers, We've also had the likes of forlan, smith, wellbeck, falcao, Rossi, he's gt almost 25goals this year, I bet a fair few on your list never gt that in a year for us

I wouldn't say he is a woeful player, but he isn't great either. He can't even control the ball, which is a disgrace for a pro footballer that cost what he did. My problem is that his presence at the club is hampering the development of our young attacking players and preventing (along with Jose's tactics) us from playing a more expansive and entertaining game.
watching him trying to trap/control the ball to hold it up is a laughable routine most of the time

2 goals against a top 10 team
He played every game and every minute surely he should have scored more than 15 league goals. He’s a flat track bully that goat 90 million plus Rooney

I'd say he is pretty good. I don't think that he'll ever be great, but I don't dislike him and you can't argue with his record. I just don't enjoy watching the football that is being served up with him being used the way he is.
Lukaku: only two players in the league with more goals and assists combined.
My conclusion: Lukaku is one of the most prolific contributors to the bottom line in the PL, and as such an incredibly valuable player.
I don't like Lukaku as he's not a great striker we were crying out for, especially for the fee we paid and will end up paying.
But he has helped us put to bed teams that took draws from what we're possible wins in Jose's first season. That is an improvement and has helped us sit second most if the season. We still need to take another step up. Can Lukaku improve? We'll see.
The sad thing is he isn't what the coach wants from a 9 and neither is he dropped for playing poorly. Hey say great players should can play poor but produce a moment of magic. I don't see hat with Lukaku. When he's playing poor he is poor. No moment of magics.

He simply isn’t good enough. Zlatan was a far better striker.
15 league goals, 2 against a top 10 team. I’m sorry but we should expect more for a 90 million striker.
