Not sure where some of these pieces fit in to be honest?

Meanwhile we are still leaving ourselves light up front centrally to me.

While I applaud all the new arrivals, you can only start with 11, so there will be some who may well be disappointed. On the other hand, it will make for a competitive squad.

Up front? Bring back Mir.

Seriously, I think Nuno may well be satisfied with the options he has right now.

Just feels to me that we are leaving that centrally spot unnecessarily light with Bonatini who couldn't keep Afobe out and Jimenez who we know little of and who appears to be a perrenial substitute.

Think Dendoncker can play across the defence too. Gives us three great options in midfield plus a bit of flexibility.

Was there any indication of potential system changes in pre season Tam?

Rumours are Andre Silva is on his way to the premier league.

What a transfer window.

Can you imagine what it will be this time next year when we've qualified for the champions league.

And who said we wouldn't fill a 50k seater stadium.

No. Other than Saiss moving into centre half over Bennett. Saiss has not looked comfortable there though and Bennett looks a lot more solid.

To be honest, out of our regular starters from last season; Saiss is the one I think is most likely to struggle whether in midfield or defence. I’d probably cash in on him if we get a good offer and this Dendoncker comes in. Moutinho, Neves, Dendoncker and MGW are great options.

I do wonder whether we might play three across central midfield in some games this season though.

Zinchenko due at Compton tomorrow morning to finalise the deal

That's over £80m spent and it could be more

Not surprised really that Saiss looked uncomfortable playing on the right side of a back 3. He's left footed and does better on the other side, especially as he plays there for his country.

Any sign of players leaving? We could be ok with loaning some out, as the deadline for the EFL is the end of August, I believe.

Never in my time as a wolves fan have I ever seen anything like what's happening at our club now. This is just incredible.

And some say we won't fill a 50k seater stadium.

Just go take a look around social media.

Not sure why these signings suddenly mean we would fill a 50k stadium, in the grand scheme of things most of these players are not top 4 side players

Boly is right footed and seems ok on the left. Neves is right footed and looks ok playing in the left centre midfield role.

Nuno wants right footers on the left and vice versa as he believes it opens more passing angles. This is something the old Netherlands team used to do too.

Saiss is so one footed, it will always catch up with him. He looked uncomfortable at times last season when the ball was on his right foot, having to cut back and take the tempo out of our attack.

It really doesn’t matter where he plays for Morocco, they are not a great side. I wouldn’t have him in this current Wolves side as first choice in any position. Did a great job in the Championship, but now should only be considered as a back up.

Looks like Saiss will become the useful utility guy who can do a solid job in various positions and see out the final 20 of games to give players a breather etc.

Still trying to figure out the plan with some of these signings though, Zinchenko and Dendoncker sound great but can we see both of them as starters along with the other signings?

Also don't really understand why we are over padding some positions whilst still ignoring what has been our weakest position for a few seasons now, the central striker role

posted on 8/8/18

Nuno doesn't want a central striker, he has said a Steve Bull type is not how he wants to play.

I actually agree, instead of a team marketing our main striker out of the game, they have to contend with Jota, Cav, Cost, Traore, Jiminez. That is a pretty powerful front line.

I think it could be a masterstroke.

As Wolfie correctly called, we don't need one. We effectively have six fluid players who can score 70 between them.

Yeah perhaps that is the plan Amiga but last season when we played others like Cav and Jota centrally we seemed to lose a little something but generally i wouldn't have a problem with them interchanging and it has crossed my mind as to whether we could see an Henry(Thierry not Carl) type change for Traore?!

Maybe a 4-2-3-1 might come about with a midfield triangle

One marquee centre back for £35m and I'll be reasonably content
