Usually have to, if you hope to fulfil your ambitions.

Dont get me wrong, De Gea must be happy at United, fair play to him.
But when your probably the best player in your position in world football, it seems a little odd that you wouldn't want to be challenging for footballs biggest honours on a regular basis, along with similarly talented players.

Never seen him happier. Hope it's a big amount per week, like £25,000 or something.

You haven't won or even come close to a league title since fergie stopped bullying refs to gift you points. That's ancient history.

Deserves every penny. Well not really given what nurses, police officers, etc earn but he does in comparison to other footballers. When he plays well the whole team does.

Great signing. The transformation under Klopp has been superb. He must realise he is in best place. My fave player

Apart from 1 league title, efl, europa, fa cup.
Not that great for 7 years at the 'worlds biggest club'.
Should be looking to challenge for league and CL titles regularly.
As I said, hes the best player in his position in world football, so its a little odd hes content with second rate european titles, and third rate domestic cups.
Whatever floats his boat I suppose.

With the extra money I can’t wait to see what his teeth will look like next season.

Should save on the leccy bill for the floodlights.

Depends on how you class recent really.

It’s our best period for a decade, not surprising when we were finishing 6th-8th for a while. We could have finished 5th for the last 5 years and it still would have been our best recent period.

None of that changes the fact that Utd haven’t got near the two main trophies since Fergie retired, and I bet Utd fans would have laughed in 2013 if anyone would have said that would be how the next 5 years would go.

You are currently Liverpool in the 90’s. You will probably wear white suits in the cup final this year.
