They should have introduced Darkseid more by now.

You're talking about Joss Whedon's JL though, that's nothing to do with Snyder and clearly we are getting at least some Darkseid in this "real" JL movie.

I was underwhelmed by the look of Darkseid in the trailer. Not even in the same league as Thanos.

I'll reserve judgement until I've seen the movie although it's a shame we can't see this movie on the big screen or ideally in an Imax where it's meant to be seen. Maybe we will at some point.

I'll be going to rewatch it if it is. Unless it's a bag of sheite of course lol. Not sure what watching a four hour movie in the cinema is like though. Presumably there's a nice long interval halfway.

I prefer the snacks analogy - Marvel are Oreos mass produced but tasty, fun and a reliable treat.

DC is a pack of Quality Streets - some are great, some are absolutely dire.

The DC's problem is WB. They're clearly not all singing form the same hymsheet when it comes to these DC movies not to mention all the problems and infighting with the likes of Geoff Johns etc.

You almost never hear of these same problems with any of the MCU movies. Even now WB announcing a Superman reboot only days before the release of the Snyder JL movie. If they were all invested in JL becoming a success then why would they do that ? Just wreaks of more infighting within the company.

I do wonder what happens if this JL movie is good and does well. We know that it will end on a cliffhanger and after investing four hours of our lives and quite a bit of money it's very likely that most people who enjoyed it would want to see a follow-up.

I think if it is really really successful you *might* see a HBO show continuation but it also depends on the cast. Rumours are Gal Gadot only wants to make one final WW movie, Affleck isnt seemingly keen to stick around and Cavill and WB have been at loggerheads for several years, while the Ray Fisher situation...yeesh

It's very unclear at this stage. Keeping it purely as an HBO Max production is an option I guess. If we're only getting half of the story with this movie then it would suck if it's just left like that in permanent limbo.

I'm sure we would've caught some rumours on who was going to be in it with all the hype and news with regards to the filming of the Snyder Cut.

It could just be a shot of his torso or feet or even just hia hand wielding the ring. Something like the superman cameo in Shazam.

They'll probably go with John Stewart and cast Michael B Jordan.. if they haven't cast him as superman first

I enjoyed the justice league unlimited series, so I wouldn't be opposed to a John Stewart lantern.

He's not a bad character tbf. I wouldn't really mind which Lantern they use, just as long as they get the actor right.

Yeah he'd be sooo much more suited to John Stewart Green Lantern than Superman. And we don't necessarily need Hal Jordan in this movie, any Green Lantern or Corps inclusion would be very cool.
