Sorry mate I accidentally filtered you, didn’t realise until this comment.
Cheers admin for undoing it
Brilliant news, would have been strange to use his screenplay and not have him direct it.
I’m still intrigued how his suicide squad will pan out

Are people arguing about who is more powerful in the MCU? These scripts are written.
It's like people who take the WWE Champions seriously.
Most important fact is the most popular Marvel character ever is Spiderman, the amount of movies, cartoons, comics dedicated to him are clear. Even Stan Lee called Spiderman the Mickey Mouse of Marvel. Everyone knows who Spiderman is even if they've never read a comic or watched any cartoons or marvel movies.
In my opinion, Spiderman should've ALWAYS been the main Marvel Character, but now he's a kid who begs to be in the team.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
All true (the most famous part) but would seem a bit daft for a kid that can sling webs to be the leader of a team consisting of actual gods.
=========================================
I think what I'm trying to say is I didn't want him to be a Spider-Boy, I would rather he was Spiderman, his origin has been told many times.
Secondly, I don't think Iron Man is the most powerful, yet he seems to be leading a team of Gods anyway.
But even if Spiderman is not the leader, I still think he should've been a pivotal and major character in the MCU, not just a kid who says the odd joke and Iron Man's little pet.
I think Spider-Man will become a main player going into the next phase.
Have to remember he’s relatively new in the MCU right now
I hope so, but I have my doubts

Sigh. Hate that they will be going full x men in the MCU
Think MCU needed the mutant rights more than anything else.
pls dont just turn them into exactly the same formula as the rest of the marvel stuff getting sick of it
Such enthusiasm
I love the X-Men but I hope they give them a rest for a while. More interested in seeing the F4 done properly first.
Phase 1 of MCU was great, after that it got annoying.
Films completely separate to the team (eg Guardians and Black Panther) were good, but other sequels got really tiring and silly.

Not all sequels did.
Thor - Ragnork is far better than the other two of his films and is up there as one of the best imo
I found Ragnarok too try hard.
Some really serious things happened in that movie and jokes were non-stop as if I was watching a comedy.
Some people in the MCU are naturally funny, but I prefer Thor when he's serious with the odd funny line.
It was still better than the 2nd Thor (which I nearly fell asleep), but overall I preferred the 1st Thor.
I feel Civil War was a good movie, but that was basically an Avengers Movie and I liked Infinity War too (yes that was funny too but the Guardians and Iron Man are more suited to that stuff).
Marvel Studios making X-Men.
After Logan, don't we all know what happens to the X-Men?
Or is that another timeline?
Or will they reboot it?
If they do Xmen then it has to be a full reboot same with F4.

There are so many crossover stories between the X-Men and all the characters in the MCU that I’m sure it can be done effectively. If they could introduce them like they did Guardians that would be great.
I'm also of the opinion that X-Men needs a break especially as the current one is just coming out with a new movie.
But I thought the same about Spiderman as well and Marvel still forced it on us. Am I the only one that's not totally obsessed with Tom Holland's character?
I know it was a landmark moment for them, but they shouldn't have blown their load so early with him. Had they kept him until after Endgame and introduced him now, I think they would've done a better job.
Now Into The Spiderverse...there's a proper comic book movie. Why can't the live action movies ever get Spiderman's character right
Can’t say I’m not happy about Spider-Man tbh think it’s been done pretty well.
