Just finished Hawkeye and I can't believe they disrespected Kingpin in it..
So apparently, the writers of Spider-Man `NWH considered Venom in the final battle. But then decided that Venom is essentially a Hero, and it wouldn’t of made sense….yada yada yada…

Venom is hero just as much as he is villain to be fair. The symbiote amplifies the hosts mood, which is also where Spiderman 3 got it so wrong.

I can't believe how badly Sony has desecrated Venom. Holding out hope for Morbius as it looks alright, but if they mess up Kraven we riot.
Surely they can’t turn them all into goofballs.
But then when there’s no Spider-Man to deal with… I dunno. But yeh, let’s hope they get them right.
They’ve picked 2 potential badasses in Morbius and Kraven. You can’t soften them up.
Well maybe Morbius… he’s kinda like Mr Freeze in a sense. Give him a love interest and boom, another anti-hero is here.

I haven't seen the series but I assume by kid, you mean yhe new female hawkeye replacement? If so, that's also part of the MCU narrative these days. Make women stronger and powerful at the expense of male characters.

I don't especially care as I have Reeves' separate Batmanverse to be excited about instead - and I didn't care for the Snyderverse that much anyway...but it has kicked up quite the stink on Twitter.
