No doubt it’s a massive gamble but as king says, others have experience but don’t tick the other boxes.
Put it this way, I’d rather take the gamble on Gerrard than safe hands in mcinnes

If it's any consolation I say it every time I see someone write SPL
It’s brought the spotlight on our game and there’s no doubt he’s a huge name in football.
As for investment. My fwcking rse. He’ll get what money can be gleaned from players out of contract or sales. It’ll be a reasonable amount but if he’s not starting until the summer (commitments over the World Cup and European finals maybe) it’s going to be a massive challenge made even harder to assemble a squad unless he just leaves it in the hands of his back room staff.
Still it’s nice to see the bears positive again.
I'm just pointing out facts in repsonse to Irish liverpool fans comments from yourself kneerash and Celtic fans calling him another Tim. I am merely responding to other comments. Nothing wrong with responding is there? Am I supposed to not mention religion when it's brought up?

We don't have a Scottish Premier League or SPL.
We have a league body known as the SPFL. They have four professional leagues, with the highest ranked league being the Scottish Premiership.
The SPL ceased to exist a few years ago.
However it goes it's added a new dimension to the Old Frm now and at least Rangers fans can look forward to next season with a bit of optimism that it could go well and Stevie may help attratc a few players who may not have gone to Rangers under a different manager.

He doesn't officially start until 1st of June, McAllister is in place now too Stevie G confirmed that today.
And just because he doesn't officially start due to other commitments I am sure he will be involved in discussions for next season.
