A true football legend - hope he recovers
As a Liverpool fan I can put rivalry aside at times like this.
Get well soon
I had the pleasure of attending an evening with him at the Royal Concert Hall last year or the year before.
Love listening to and then reading his approach to coaching and mentoring
Its a long old way back from such an operation, but Im sure hell get the best care available, and in time hopefully will make a full recovery.
His most recent book about management was brilliant - only sorry that I read it after I had retired
Also, despite being a Bluenose, he was always great with all things Celtic. Loved Big Jock and thought he was the GOAT, was always fulsome in his praise of the Celtic support - and was one of the star turns at last May's Lisbon Lions tribute
Sir Alex is one of a handful who comfortably crises to old firm divide with equal respect on both sides
His opinions are always based on ability and personality and never on scarf colour
Is it his book “Leading”?
We got given one each at the evening with him. Great book
CS - yes it is - terrific read
We are all praying for Fergie time.
Thoughts are with him and his family!

I’m gutted that I wasn’t old enough to see Fergie’s Aberdeen in the 80s but i’m privileged to see Fergie’s Man united team in the 90’s. Hope he pulls through.
Such a good manager. The amount of trophies he won and probably still could was unreal.
Fergie, keep strong my son. I know from personal experience how difficult it is to undergo that type of surgery. With the right support he should pull through with flying colours 👍
His Aberdeen team were probably the best team in Scotland I’ve seen in my supporting lifetime
