I agree with Jonty that whoever leads the footballing side of things doesn't necessarily have to be a big personality but, in the modern era, not having one is often seen as a weakness.
I still believe that we need a British manager, a manager that has Championship experience and one that has had some recent success.
I say manager because I also believe that's what we require. Not a head coach. This Director of Football nonsense doesn't work here.
Let's get back to basics. Bring in players with experience of this league too.
Understanding the league and some sense of what being at a club like Leeds United is half the battle. I've seen lots of players unable to play to the best of their ability here, almost frozen, frightened by the weight of expectation and the stage on which they perform.

I don’t believe we need foreign or British manager
We need a GOOD manager
Same with the players, I don’t buy into that players can’t play because they can’t handle the expectations.
It’s down to ability nothing else, that why we’ve struggled.
I say manager because I also believe that's what we require. Not a head coach. This Director of Football nonsense doesn't work here.

Agreed, LIW. This year, 2 foreign coaches got teams promoted. Last year, two foreign coaches got teams promoted. Question is, could any coach get our lot promoted?
Thing is with promotion is how many teams/clubs do it our way and how many do it the way we want it doing?..
Clubs that get promoted are clubs that are doing things right, that means they're leaving there manager to do it his way!..
Or they have coaches doing it our way but putting the right players in the right places!..
But to do that you have to have the right coach and the right players, which seems to be our downfall in most departments!..
