He`s a better player in my opinion, but these days he attracts more attention from hatchet men defenders than when he first appeared in the PL. This has affected his statistics but defenders worrying about Dele also leaves space for others.
He is also being victimized by referees after the anti Spurs media banged the `Dele is a diver` drum, and all this when there are far worse cheats and divers being routinely rewarded for their antics who play their home games at Klanfield and Old Toilet etc. If Dele played for Pool or United he would be getting at least half a dozen more penalties a season.

I think he's stayed much the same and is a class player (gave you your first win at the bridge in how long?).
He has always been on peripheral of games for me but pops up with important goals or moments. I think, looking from the outside in, when I see him he has dropped a bit deeper this year and sometimes holds onto the ball too much and gets disposssed. Wouldn't say that makes him worse, but I think he's best at popping the ball off and getting into the box.

My main gripe with him is this regular habit of giving the ball away cheaply. Don't think he is as creative as he wants or thinks he is and tries to many things. Drives me nuts
He really needs to improve that side of his game.
Hence the reason I don't feel he is good enough or ready for any of the tops sides irrespective of the price tag being put on him.

He's become the best at what he does in the PL. He needs to compete with Ronaldo and Neymar now. Only they are better divers than he is.

No way, alli is a world class cheat.
Dele in his first season for us was ok.
Second season he was ridiculously prolific and that was about it.
This season he has developed his midfield game exponentially and hasn’t played as a second striker-hybrid like he did before. In the absence of Kane this season he stepped up more than anyone else to score the goals, this is because he changed to his role from the season before. This can be backed up by seeing how he has improved both as a creator and defensively this season.
I still think he is an excellent player, but he doesn't seem like he is enjoying football as much as he was a couple of years ago, which for me is a bigger worry
Anyone back the decision to bring him deeper? In his second season I was convinced his trajectory would lead to him becoming a Thomas Muller type player

He's growing up and he now thinks about how he handles himself on the green. I agree with Edin on this, he is playing a different role and developing nicely. He really did step up for us last season when we needed him.

When our midfield dropped off in terms of quality.
Dele could play more attackingly 16/17 when our midfield of Wanyama/Dembele was one of the best in the league. This season Dembele has been a lot worse off and we have had injury and form issues in the midfield - meaning we have required more of a contribution from both Dele & Eriksen.
Also, towards BK's original point. I think Dele has way more potential as a midfielder because of his ability to make those key runs. Whereas as an attacking player this quality gets lost somewhat as it is what is alreayd expected in the role.
