I wouldn't disagree that he's sort of alright

KLS you need to be a bit stronger in your belief than "sort of alright" if you're going to convince us. See Robbing, Greatteams or Term for that steely resolve you're looking for

England were never behind when Henderson was on the pitch.

Henderson was easily one of Englands top 3 players in the world cup.

Didnt go missing, was majorly outnumbered in midfield, and tried things when most were scared too.

Tripper gave away the all the most of all i read, but he still played well in most the games I think.

Bearing in mind so many of Englands players just vanished I find it hard to see fans flaming Henderson, and Im far from his biggest fan.

I think club bias has even a subconscious effect on peoples views. Do I think Henderson or Dier on there own was going to be effective against top teams? nope.

Do I think Lingaard/Ali went AWOL constantly? yes.
Does that mean they are 5hit? nope.

Sterling is a better example for dividing opinion I think, and far more frustrating. He does lots well, but his end product was toilet.

Even Kane was 50% of what he can do, and sat in midfield and ended u feeding the midfielders that shouldve been supplying him. Madness.

England made progress sure, but fact is we are still way off being a good team, and the set up isnt ideal imo.

We need a plan B and C.

Focusing on Henderson and Dier is madness, as the reason they went is because they are easily the best English players at that role.

I rate plenty of players including the likes of Pogba, Ozil, Sterling etc but Henderson is not one of them. For some reason this seems to cause you such offence? Nothing to do with Spurs whatsoever. Very childish to dismiss somebody's football knowledge just because they don't happen to agree with you
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you don’t rate a player that’s made it to.

The Europa league final.

The league cup final.

The champions league final.

All in the last 3 seasons?

World Cup semi final.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Does that mean Arsenal fans should rate Pascal Cygan? he won a premier league medal and FA Cup with us. Should Man U fans rate Anderson? he won a fair share of league titles with them plus Champions League. Henderson however may have reached finals and captained the side but won nothing apart from the league cup back in 2012. I'm pretty sure he didn't even play in the quarter finals and semi finals in the champions league. Liverpool got to the final of the champions league mainly due to the front 3, nothing to do with Henderson!
